Here are some reason :
* To change the perception of all people about the digital currency.
* To improve the payments and transactions and in the internet world.
* To become the image of money around the world.
* To protect or hides the identity of the user, for security purposes.
* To give an opportunity to all people around the world to earn a secondary income.
* To upgrade the currency because everything in this world is now upgrading.

You missed the main point decentralization. Bitcoin was created and with the help of bitcoin people can now express their financial freedom. Owning bitcoin means you are the sole owner of it and only you have your rights over your coins. Even the government can't seize or control your money.

Sorry man, this is not created for the purpose that it will help poor people, instead this is just a way to develop a new technology that might bring us into new era(computer era). Most probably poor countries won't after these technology cause it only add burden to them. Still we need money to start for this, and I really don't think that poor people will just take prior of buying gadgets than of their food and daily needs.
