This is not a good news for us, I hope that Facebook won't do it or hope that they will change their minds. I know that they really have the right to do it, but we will hope that they have to be open minded because there are already Bitcoiners or people who used Facebook as a medium of spreading good news about Bitcoin and ICO's. It is also obvious that most people or company uses Facebook for advertising their products. So, why only Bitcoin and ICO's?

Maybe facebook them to prevent what can happen in the market without affecting them, it's never safe for Bitcoin users who are usually new to staying on facebook long, then I Always get random messages from a stranger to their rogue web site for scams, and for an ICO they can promote that project.

They deserve to do this. But as a social media platform, they should know better. Social media sites are now for advertising purposes. They only do this to clean their hands of possible ICO scams.

They do have the right to do this. But being a social media platform, they should know better. Social media sites are now for advertising purposes. They're just doing this to clean their hands off of possible scam ICO's. But no matter what they do, facebook will never be a true source of truth or whatever their trying to show the masses right now.
Yeah right,  they have an authority to do it, to banned some ads that has not nothing to do with the social media itself like in Facebook.  Facebook is a platform of social media and this will help you to communicate other people and also to show the world how or what did you experience in your daily life.  Bitcoin ads has nothing to do with facebook but it can give also an information about the bitcoin through ads but make other things in appropriate way or manner. This bitcoin may lead us people in a good and better society because it can help us interms of financial. But i am not against with, but think about the people who does not know or want to see this ads.  They will feel irritated from this.

"Social media giant Facebook has unveiled a new policy that bans advertisements involving bitcoin and initial coin offerings, among others..."

I think that can affect bitcoin because there are so many facebook user and when they ban the ads for bitcoin and Icos in it there is a chance that the people that interested in bitcoin will decrease.

Facebook is so strict nowadays.  Maybe we should be more careful about what post we made or to not over post  in just one day,  they detect it.  We should learn the rules of facebook since facebook is one of the best social media where we can easily advertise project etc... We should respect sites rules.

Recently, they are not very good at advertising ICO, we will hope that in the future the situation will change and the advertising of ICO will not be banned.

It is not the best decision I ever made by Facebook, they are irritating me for their attitude towards cryptocurrencies, but don't worry they have already cancelled this decision

There have been a number of announcements that facebook has taken the barrier off of crypto and facebook is negotiating the largest acquisition in Europe.

The ban isn't permanent.I think Facebook are just figuring out how to better detect deceptive and misleading ads and ramps up enforcement. They will revisit this policy and how they enforce it as their signals improve.

In the starting of 2018 there was a news that Facebook is going to ban ICO Ad, news channel through this news. But up to now Facebook didn’t take any action & even I heard that Facebook now will not ban ICO Ad but partially allow the Ads.

This is a bad news for some of us whos using facebook for ICO's project.
They have been so strict now a days on posting especially to those related on bitcoin.
So like other says be careful on posting on facebook.
But I think but I think in the future facebook will allow again bitcoin and ICO to post on facebook.
But it will be needed a good talk to allowed them.

At the beginning of the year, this was the case as the social media giant thought and believed that the cryptocurrency world was a bubble, hoax or another dotcom story waiting to happen. But with all that has since transpired in the crypto community, they have rescinded their position and are beginning to be more friendly and tolerating of ICOs. Google should follow suit very soon.
