When will Apple accept bitcoins?

The idea behind Bitcoin is revolutionary and many people as well as corporations would accept Bicoin eventually , but there needs to be some form of regulation in the cryptocurrency ecosystem before massive adoption of BTC by very large firms , so they know that their funds would be safe.

It will be difficult for big franchise like apple to start accepting bitcoins as there are still some regulations that is holding bitcoin to be freely used particularly by large institutions.

I have the same thoughts. Maybe (just MAYBE) Apple can take this decision but if it happens, it will happen not so very soon. This is a self-sufficient institution.

It is also a good idea. Maybe they will accept it but not now. As you say it is self-sufficient. It is certainly not dominated by any unit. And we all look at the customer. Consumers have many components and in that there may also be users of electronic money. It is also considered an opportunity for the human community.

What do you mean by “accept”?Is it a form of payment?If yes, you cannot buy Iphone or MacBook using bitcoin.But you can already use Apps in th App Store that uses bitcoin such as wallet or exchanger.We still don't know when we can buy Apple products ysing bitcoin.

Thats a great question to be answered for the people. I note that google is banning browser miner apps in the google store. There will be rules and regulations just like all the other apps. Until a payment processor integration becomes monopolized by one project, its too early to mainstream the products with the effect of a new emerging technology, without it looking shadenfraude and already been in the apple store for years not doing anything.

I don't see any reason why Apple needs it.
This is the top-1 company in the world and it now dictates market conditions, and not vice versa. When the crypto currencies become meaningful in the financial sphere, then it is worth returning to a conversation about this.

If by “accept” you mean as a form of payment, not directly. You cannot buy a MacBook or an iPhone with Bitcoin.

I guess they are still observing on samsung company that has been reported that they accept cryptocurrency specifically bitcoin as a form of payment. As we all know that a business should not rush things just because the other company had already in the system. Just like nokia now where in it was left behind by other smartphones when it comes to sales and upgrades.

No i guess it is not the biggest company when we say any comparison there are many great companies around the world and apple is one of it. Actually if apple company is open for cryptocurrency then definitely it will be another level or milestones when it comes to their sales on their products. Imagine the marketcap of bitcoin that flows in the market, relatively huge money is there so if apple is planning to attract those investors by incorporating their products to cryptocurrency then they will be highlight also in cryptocurrency, for the investors and they could expect huge sales.

I think we are near in the acceptance of APPLE with cryptocurrency.
I have read a lot of news from them and their positive words for cryptocurrency and bitcoin.
we just need to wait more time, BTW samsung accepts bitcoin now in just 1 province of a country.

I do not think that the company Apple would ever accept Bitcoin, it is actually the total opposite of what their company's character. They are very proprietary, they are very introvert as a company. They would rather create their own coin rather than accept and join Bitcoin. I also think that the features of Bitcoin will not fit the business methodology of Apple.
