Yes ofcourse, bitcoin is still popular and it will be more and more became popular, because it is well known in many countries...So you are doubting that bitcoin will not still popular? Because of that factor like bitcoin price is not stable?? We all know that bitcoin price is not stable because of its volatibility and its price will change every single moment. And because of that sometimes it will pump and dump that might seen by the investor as an opportunity for making more profit.

Not everyone is a fraudster, it's normal to get investigated if you send large amounts of money.

Still, I wonder who will be ready to pay 50k for a BTC. I get it that at such a price the average Joe will only buy fractions, satoshis, but the mass has recently been aware of the BTC, it was everywhere in the media, and the ones who were ready to buy, already have. Those who weren't ready to buy at 15k, and were still not ready to buy now under 10k, yeah SURE they are gonna buy at 50k.. knowing, from recent events, that it will most likely crash shortly after. Quite likely that anyone intelligent later interested in BTC is gonna wait for the next crash to enter, actually.

Nope, Bitcoin is still the most popular amongst investors and users and the media. Cryptocurrency users still mostly prefer Bitcoin over the others. Media still write actively about Bitcoin because it still has a high value, highest matket cap and more and more people know about Bitcoin.

insinuating that I am a fraudster is uncalled for, you don't even know me, maybe do a little research Wink nobody should be coerced into recognising defined guberment terrorists by begging them for an ID to share with idiots online. especially when we know that exchanges are helping the so called authorities in linking wallet addresses to real people. and we all have skeletons in the closet some we might not even be aware of, do you know for certain you have never deposited to a darknet market wallet? never sent coins to random addresses that people give to you? I know I have and I don't have a clue where they went.

peoples attitudes are still the same, its nerd money, or an expensive alternative to real money that they only have access to if they have electricity and an internet connection. they laugh at the very idea of investing what goes up must come down, and now they want us to hand over ID along with a bloody selfy, we aint all kids you know. most people I know wont even put their card details into websites to buy things, how anybody thinks that these people are suddenly going to change their outlook is beyond me.

New adoption is only coming from gamblers who cant resist, that is not what we need. I loved my hobby until all this ID stupidity came about, now I cant trade, everywhere wants a guberment issued ID that I will not get because if I do I have to accept all their retarded legislations in the process, and I am by far alone in this stance. example of retarded legislations, if I accepted them, I would be breaching policy by smoking in my own van, that I bought and paid for and own outright, who the fook do they think they are...

I think it's losing its popularity in terms of crypto community as other currencies are gaining more traction. But given the influx of new crypto users, all in all bitcoin's popularity keeps growing.

Bitcoin lost some of its popularity because of the drop but the ones that are well informed won't give up on bitcoin. There is hope

Bitcoin will remain a transaction currency, and as such will not use popularity. However, it will also not be used for anything else, as there are technically more superior solutions out there.

The biggest problem with Bitcoin (as a "brand") are the forks and the manipulation. If there was no Bitcoin Jesus and no forks, Bitcoin would be a million dollar already.

I don't have any type of bitcoin because of this. I trust ETH 1000x more than Bitcoin.
You never know if you have 1 BTC worth 10k$ today if that is going to be there tomorrow because of some self-proclaimed bitcoin Jesus has the power to change the name of  sh#$ty fork called BTG, BCH, BTX, BT? to BTC with his influence. Besides that, with his tricks in the past causing BTC transactions to crash, no one want to take a risk to keep BTC. Transactions can be slow (56 hours) and expensive (35$ and are vulnerable to ddos attacks). For new people these kind of numbers and risk factors scare them of.

In my opinion the only valuable bitcoins are the are ones that have not been forked yet. Once they get sold their value is gone.

If all exchanges just ditch all forks and they get de-listed everywhere, we will have the mother of all coins again. until then I prefer to stick with ETH or even Doge.

Right now there are more coins available in the market which gives you more profit than bitcoin.
Bitcoin price is also not stable.
All these factors affect its popularity ??
What you think, still bitcoin is more popular ?

The popularity can not be missed. What is perhaps being lost during these times of high volatility is the reliability of bitcoin as a store of value, and since this had been the main reason why people were investing in bitcoin, there seems to be no justification for continuing to do so, and therefore it would be understandable that new investors are looking for options beyond the bitcoin to invest in this market.

Bitcoin's depreciation has badly affected its popularity, but it may be an opportunity for some investors who think they are late

I don't think so, according to some surveys that promotes about how popular the bitcoin is, its rapidly still growing! And for some country is freshly known. And investors are still about to come!

I also believe with that kind of perception about bitcoin.  Bitcoin becoming more popular,  I think its popularity won't last until there are some supporters  or demand and the market shows how popular bitcoin right now.

I think it is quite the opposite for this statement. From what I had observed, bitcoin is actually getting popular. But even though it is getting popular, still few venture into crypto with bitcoin for the reason that they are too afraid of the uncertainties it has.
