I don't see that bitcoin loses or will lose its popularity. Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency, to many people it represents the whole world of cryptocurrencies. What happens is that bitcoin loses its importance as a currency. But instead its importance as an investment is rising.

Bitcoin still has its relevance and not the dips reducing its relevance or popularity. I still met with a friend yesterday that is not that informed in Cryptocurrency but he still knows about bitcoins despite the market dippings. Mind you, bitcoin is still being used as an entry currency to purchase altcoins.

the popularity of bitcoin is very good many people are talking about bitcoin but the problem is not there but whether the bitcoin is received by the community itself or in some sort of gambling.

The bear market we witness is very normal thing to happen in any healthy market. Simply because if the price just cannot go up and up forever. If it does, there must be st wrong. Happy to see this down healthy trend but sad that i cannot buy more. All the money i have dedicated for cryptos is already in the market. Wait for the next up move 😀

Bitcoin, I think will remain as a store of value or something used for trading. Bitcoin opened up blockchain technology to the world but I think there are a lot of projects that are improving upon this technology like Bitcoin Atom's step in further decentralization through built-in hash time lock contracts, keeping people independent from the middlemen.

Right now there are more coins available in the market which gives you more profit than bitcoin.
Bitcoin price is also not stable.
All these factors affect its popularity ??
What you think, still bitcoin is more popular ?
Bitcoin does not lose its popularity, with such drops, bitcoin loses the small market players who expected it to grow to the skies, and as the price slump began, everyone began to get rid of it.

People nowadays are in panic because of the fall in price in which bitcoin becomes more popular , it became the talk of the town or internet sensation more trending than ever, after the highest price to the fall of it.

First of all op should not hate Bitcoin like this over the other altcoins, no Bitcoin is not losing its popularity. It's true that Mini new cryptocurrency came into the market after Bitcoin and get many of them are providing much better profit than Bitcoin but that's what make it a market we know that Bitcoin is not being made to be market stuff. People easily get scared and lose their believe in Bitcoin if you are a true Bitcoiner then learn to keep holding your Bitcoin in the tough time only then you can make a good profit. Always try to learn as much as you can and face your fears that will give you success and knowledge in your life.

Yes, it is worth acknowledging that bitcoin is slowly losing its popularity. This is due to many factors, and not only with its volatility. First of all, it began to lose its popularity due to the fact that it ceased to function fully as a means of payment. People stopped investing in it because it became slow, its transactions hovered, and commission fees for their conduct increased enormously. In addition, due to excessive demand for it, it began to rise sharply in price and actually swell as a financial bubble. Therefore, last December, bitcoin not only surprised with its increased price, but also showed itself as a swelling bubble, which should beware of when investing. All this led to the fact that he began to slowly lose his popularity.

Despite the fact that now there are more and more cryptocurrencies on the market, bitcoin is the basis, the tip of all cryptocurrencies. I believe that bitcoin is only gaining momentum, so there is no doubt that it does not lose its popularity. Cryptocurrencies are traded for bitcoins, it is worth to realize that bitcoin will never lose its popularity and will only become even more popular. Now, perhaps, there has been less talk about it, because the talk is about something new, unknown to anyone, from which it can be concluded that bitcoin is a standart currency. It will grow soon, I am sure.

Depends on who you're with... For investors, yes, bitcoin has lost some interest with all the new projects. But among the population, bitcoin remains the reference in cryptocurrencies. That's all the media is talking about.

Bitcoin has a great future. The budgets of some countries are already being built on the basis of the block, and without a key coin, this is simply not enough. Bitcoin is the dollar among the Crypto-currency

In my opinion, Not loses its popularity to those who already know bitcoin and had to used it, but for those who are newly and beginner who are learning what bitcoin is all about also we cannot consider losing popularity 'coz bitcoin is spreading all over the world, they read in a news, googles and social media.

The probability that some altcoin can catch up with the price of bitcoin is quite real, but it should take a lot of years for this to happen. It is still difficult to talk about it, because we can only assume.

I don't think that's gonna happen. Bitcoin is the most basic cryptocurrency that is constantly developing and improving. Hardly anyone can even get closer to its price, and even more so to exceed.

Interest in bitcoin is waning as other cryptocurrencies gain traction. Bitcoin, which has a market cap of $170 billion, fell in the first half of February amid a broader sell-off in the market. The cryptocurrency dropped below $10,000 as other digital currencies saw similar pullbacks.Bitcoin's dizzying ascent has prompted a number of high-profile figures in finance and economics to sound the alarm, cautioning that the currency's boom is simply a huge bubble.
Among them are outgoing Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen, who described virtual currencies as highly speculative. But personally I think that it's not reasonto stop investing into Bitcoin. It is one if the strongest cryptocurrencies and and it  won't go down so easily.
