 For me i think no because bitcoin is still expanding its popularity thru some users that shares ideas in other person who do not use or interested to start in bitcoin. Its spread also in a social media like facebook and twitter. So the popularity of bitcoin is not been lose.

If we consider your question from the geometric progress as a demand for bitcoin, then Yes, here I will agree with you and I will say with full confidence that the demand has really fallen, because we always want something new! But the demand as such for bitcoin is unlikely to fall if it certainly does not become very cheap!

I think it is the other way around. Bitcoin is definitely not losing it's popularity but it is gaining more and more attention lately. I dont think so because as far as i know bitcoin increasing everysingle day so meaning the volatility of the price doesnt affect its popularity it is the best and reliable coin in cryptocurrency .
