Market are often dominated by pioneers, and the market of cryptocurrencies is not an exception to the rule. Bitcoin is the only king of cryptocurrency since it has started and also keep aside every coin, But it is possible that Ethereum can give a strong competition to BTC since nowadays lot of people are trading and ETH is more cheaper and requires less time to transfer in comparison to BTC.

The king must be alone. Bitcoin is a means of accumulating and storing financial assets. The ethereum is a cool technology that develops. But these are different things. I think that the king is alone, he is old, but he will always be. In my humble opinion.

I think that Etherium, though a good coin, but so far it is number 2 on the list. In addition, Bitcoin has now raised the speed of my transactions, which in my opinion was his key disadvantage.

For me it was quickly clear (even after constant bashing of Bitcoiners) that Ethereum had value because it quickly attracted a huge developer community. This in itself has tremendous value.

I think its a pretty big no-brainer in hinesight that it absolutely will hit 1000 by the end of 2018.. maybe looking at 2000-3000.

Ethereum has seen a major boost during the past few weeks. In January, it was trading at around BTC0.025 per coin. During the last one month, its value against Bitcoin increased by almost 4 times, and the exchange rates hit a high of BTC0.100 per coin before falling slightly.
Ethereum are the most stable and consistent coin in term of price, yeah it could get declined and stay for long time and vice versa. The function of this coin are so useful especially in the few last months. No one in doubt about ethereum, just the matter of time it could be a better crypto than Bitcoin who always in doubt. |

In the short term, no, but in the long term, the answer may be yes. More and more ICOs are depending on the Ethereum platform, as the time passes, those number of ICOs may become larger and as a result, the rise in the price of Ethereum. Unless some actions been taken with other altcoins, there would be a chance that Ethereum would bring Bitcoin down and be the new king.

in my opinion bitcoin is still the host of cryptocurrency, we all know it. and if it could happen is an increase in eth price and transaction value in the market. actually ethereum is a coin with the greatest chance of being big, platform and purposeful use. very promising coin for future with a best chance to services cyrptocurrency user. many ICO's use it to transact and speed of delivery is also no doubt.

The ether is now behaving like a stable currency, I feel comfortable in this coin. I think that in a year or two it will come close to capitalizing bitcoin.

I would not be in a hurry with the conclusions, since the year has just begun. Although if you follow the previous trends, it is likely that the value of coins will decrease in the near future. As bitcoin is going through rough ride along with other altcoins but ethreum is turning out to be more stable platform for investment and also new ICO's are based on ethreum. Do you think Ethreum will dethrone bitcoin from 1st rank of crypto this year?
Maybe it happen if all investor are turn on into ethereum. But, for me bitcoin is still on top even the value of it is unstable. Comparing the value of this two coin between ether and bitcoin. Bitcoin have a big diffidence of price gap into ether. Because of this gap ether is need a massive mainstreaming in the crypto's community. The good thing in ether almost all ICO's are now implementing ethereum blockchain. Through this, the possibility to increase the value of ether is huge this year and ether will be always behind on bitcoin. That may be true; however, it is too ideal to happen. I side in the fact that Ethereum has the potential to contend with Bitcoin, but not at this moment. The discrepancy in price point and value really differentiates the two coins. Bitcoin's value so much outweighs Ethereum, that even if Eth is one of the reliable and enduring coins around, people would still side with Bitcoin due to price alone. However, it is comforting to know that there are other market assets like Eth that could pick up the slack, especially when Bitcoin is not doing good. |

He will become the king of crypto maybe if all the bitcoin holder wil sell there bitcoin holding and move to etherium. But for me i’m still a big fan of bitcoin until now i know bitcoin will be the king of all crypto forever because he is the father of all crypto.

I like eth but I do not feel that eth will take over the lead of cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is more better than eth i know many people also like this currency because stable than other altcoin that's why the value soaring very fast. But i do not think can take the lead.

I doubt that thia is the time of the ethereum, that the ethereum is caled king. Because until now the botcoin is number one to all site of top ranking list of all coins so if you see the mean of king is like you lead all in your environment your the number one but what happen is ethereum is on number two. So it is not the right time |

Its not possible but maybe many years will pass before it happen, but for me ethereum is will be a second to the bitcoin but best to all altcoin. And i think ethereum will always in the top of all altcoin because it has potential and a really good coin too. And it might possible to increased its value in the upcoming months and end of the year. |
