if I think yaa, ethereum can compete with bitcoin
Why? because ETH is cheaper shipping and delivery is fast
different from the expensive BTC delivery and delivery was relatively slow.
but for now this bitcoin is still the king in criptocurencies.

Hello Folk, is it the time for ethreum to lead from the front ? As bitcoin is going through rough ride along with other altcoins but ethreum is turning out to be more stable platform for investment and also new ICO's are based on ethreum. Do you think Ethreum will dethrone bitcoin from 1st rank of crypto this year?

I know that ethereum has the second to the highest value in the crypto world, but as of now, it is really hard to think that ethereum will be the new king of crypto coins because when the bitcoin's value dropped it also dropped too which made me think that ethereum is dependent in bitcoin. The good thing about ethereum is that most of the ICOs are supporting it due to its compatibility with their tokens. |

I don't think it will become number 1 this year, but it's certainly possible in long term perspective. I see better usability for Eth blockchain than Bitcoin blockchain right now |

No it can't. As we can see in this bear market, Ethereum is having trouble on surpassing bitcoin, it just follow bitcoin when it would go down or go up constantly so I can easily say, bitcoin is the king. |

ethereum is not a new king, but ethereum can be a king of cryptocurrent. but when it happen we still dont know.
ethereum is one of the other crypto that have same popularity like bitcoin, but for the price is too low than bitcoin, maybe because bitcoin is the mother of other coin

Well is it now, I sees that ethereum has a great potential future, as a smart contract. It has the ability to compete with bitcoin even beating the price of bitcoin. Looking at the high transaction rate in blockchain now which I think is one of the reason the price of bitcoin is dropping as a result of investors not coming in.
Ethereum as the stiffest competitor of Bitcoin, has a great potential and has a brighter future, no wonder it can take over bitcoin in the nearer future. Though it may be seemingly hard, but ethereum also already started to be known in the global market and the global interest has grown. |

I don't know there were never a time that they lead Bitcoin in terms of price and volume, so it's still a long way to go, and so many new coins coming with claims superior technology, we don't know if this is possible but we'll see after 2 years |

Market are often dominated by pioneers, and the market of cryptocurrencies is not an exception to the rule. Bitcoin is the only king of cryptocurrency since it has started and also keep aside every coin, But it is possible that Ethereum can give a strong competition to BTC since nowadays lot of people are trading and ETH is more cheaper and requires less time to transfer in comparison to BTC.

Ethereum has fallen in price recently too and with it any hopes of it dethroning bitcoin this year are gone. But with the current rate of development that the Ethereum devs are doing, Ethereum is surely going to dethrone Bitcoin next year.

All coins may drop its price and maybe others go up but still even bitcoin continiously drops its price it will be always the king of crypto. First of all, there are no coins that beat bitcoin in terms of price. Bitcoin still on the top of cryptocurrency. Ot is the face of cryptocurrency. Bitcoin will not be surpassed by any coin yet, and probably it will never be surpassed by any of it. Bitcoin is the king.

Market has fallen deep recently. And Ethereum has fallen harder compared to Bitcoin, Bitcoin has around 50% market dominance which is now at around 42%, I don't think Ethereum can come any close to Bitcoin for now. But it's developing and growing pretty well so Future might be surprising for Ethereum.

Yes, Ethereum has shown much potential in the past year but still to take the first place among all the cryptocurrencies, it has a long way to go. Also Bitcoin's market capital at present is $150 billion which compared to Ethereum's $54 billion is much more. When there was a drop in bitcoin's price, ethereum price got decreased too and that to a much more percentage than bitcoin. Hence, it shows that Bitcoin is still the king of all the cryptocurrencies. The advantage that Ethereum has over Bitcoin is its use as a smart contract and its unlimited supply in comparison to Bitcoin's 21 million. Hence it all depends on the future on how the coin will continue in the market. |
