Hello Folk, is it the time for ethreum to lead from the front ? As bitcoin is going through rough ride along with other altcoins but ethreum is turning out to be more stable platform for investment and also new ICO's are based on ethreum. Do you think Ethreum will dethrone bitcoin from 1st rank of crypto this year?

Most not likely, Bitcoin is well-known all over the world now, and they think that is the only coin that ever exist.

This is also my point of view - the whole cryptospace offers different solutions - ETH will be the leading platform but other like NEO, EOS, ADA, Stellar... will also find their busniness partners and will offer reasons why to choose them instead of ETH. So I don't agree fully with the OP opinion - ETH will lead, but it will have very strong competitors - and maybe ETH doesn't get advanced fast enough and has already been heading in the wrong direction for too long - but at this point it might be considered "too big to fail" Wink

No. Ethereum cannot be replace bitcoin from its being powerful in cryptomarket. Ethereum only follows bitcoin. Since Ethereum is also pioneer in crypto market, it can be called "the prince of crypto".

Ethereum has no chance to dethroned the bitcoin, even that etherum is really good crypto and even it is the best altcoin, but bitcoin is too strong and bitcoin is will always be the king of crypto and a lot of people in this wolrd will continue to support bitcoin  so eth can not dethroned bitcoin.

Although Ether lost a lot of its original value from December. I think the future is bright as there are several more projects and improvements that are coming to help the network. For example, right now how to scale the system is one of the biggest issues and the foundation is working hard to try to fix that. As we see the last 2 months the Ethereum was at over >€700,- and in March it was at €300,- Limit so noone can pay the Energycost and Telecom cost - so the ETH was death to mine.
Or you have a idea where i can get a more cheap electrical current? i say no. the Ethereum is if the Course is not rising death because it has no monetary value only a exchange value.
today we have a course at €425,- now it is pay able to mine again but under €300,- it is a collapse. For investors is a very good plan to invest for miners it is a horror.

If you really think that ethereum will be much more expensive than bitcoin there are two options:
1* You are a newbie
2* You do not even know how cryptos works.
