Yes! very soon and basically base on my observation ethereum will soon overtake bitcoin. Because the blockchain of ethereum is faster than bitcoin and one thing the community loved is the tokens under ethereum blockchain today. For now bitcoin is the most popular on some countries that is new in this industry because bitcoin is the first thing they heard about cryptocurrency.

I think Bitcoin will be the king of Crypto forever.
Currently, many use Ethereum and Ethereum platforms are much more stable than Bitcoin.
Is not that King means to have the highest value ??
If yes, then Bitcoin is the highest value compared to another altcoin.

I think we need to wait till POS, plasma and sharding are implemented before trying to make comments on Ethereum taking the lead. These are all important developments and if they become successfully implemented than I think that Ethereum will be ready to take the lead. Also the prices of altcoins need to decouple from that of bitcoin.

Hello Folk, is it the time for ethreum to lead from the front ? As bitcoin is going through rough ride along with other altcoins but ethreum is turning out to be more stable platform for investment and also new ICO's are based on ethreum. Do you think Ethreum will dethrone bitcoin from 1st rank of crypto this year?
It will happen but not this year or next year, but I know ETH would replace BTC someday as being the no.1 digital currency in the market. A lot of people starting to lose trust in BTC because of they lost a huge amount of money investing in BTC. We can't predict the market as of now because its so volatile the only thing that we can do is to hope and make people invest in altcoin especially ETH. |

It seems to be impossible whatever we do even we turn up and down the world bitcoin will be the one who will lead and dictate some price falldown and market mooning in crypto world. If ethereum takes the lead it will be dont react like the way as bitcoin's effect if ethereum rises bitcoins will be affected? Thats only in my very most opinion. |

In my opinion Ethereum has big potential to continue growth stable in this year and has possibility bigger than Bitcoin because Ethereum given more advantages than bitcoin to the crypto community.

Honestly I do not think that ETH will beat BTC, but undoubtedly it is one of the stable and promising coins, and it proved its power. A lot of other coins and ICOs are base on its platform. So we can say that ETH is revolutionary. |

Ethereum is a very solid project with enormous potential, Vitalik Buterin and his team are developing it very well to make the platform as stable as possible. It is currently a giant in the sector but it will be difficult for this year to overcome the current king of cryptocurrencies Bitcoin

I think Ethereum is the most successful Altcoin. ETH
It is the only coin that can compete with Bitcoin. I think ETH can reach 4k this year. And it is possible to go beyond Bitcoin.

Hope that your word's became true. Ethereum really more useful than Bitcoin and almost all ICO project accept Eth how number 1 for purchase. Also, almost all new token's based on Ethereum erc-20 standart, which mean, that investor's need to buy some ETH for a transfer their token's to exchanges. That's why Ethereum should be number 1 cryptocurrency.

Ethereum may be king in the future. But I do not think it will happen this year. Bitcoin has nearly half of the crypto market. And for Ethereum to be king, Bitcoin price must big fall. I think in Bitcoin there will be big rises instead of declines.

Well it's not impossible but bitcoin now is recovering and it will become the strongest crypto indeed. Bitcoin now is increasing again and it is really unstoppable now and continually takes its place again as the number one cryptocurrency. |
