I think it's better to play games online than gambling because online games is fun you can relax and learn more fun games you can go to online gambling also. This time people are addicted now to games and even adults are interesred here. At first it's difficult to play but when you know it already it's easy and enjoyable. I don't see why do you think anyone(OP) want to teach you something. OP is obviously curious person and he doesn't understand why lots of people say that they are gambling only for fun while gambling is game with purpose to win money. Probably you didn't understand topic.

Future? I doubt this thing will only happen into those people who are lucky enough to win or secure big amounts that would guarantee them a good future but focusing too much on playing wont really give you any advantage on life since this is solely created for entertainment. To be honest, Not all people are fond of playing online games neither some of them doesn't even know any online games. Well, the idea is good if you are only looking for fun and entertainment. Though the catch here is that the thrill, excitement that a casino or any gambling games they experienced is far more different than just playing an online game. In addition, Interacting with others via virtual and in person is very different in every way. There are a lot of people online tends to be a troll and will literally don't care about your existence and unlike the people inside the casino are very accommodating and friendly (Based on my experiences).

I believe online games are only sort of wasting time, this can be done by those who have lot's of idle time. I wouldn't say it's the main reason to gamble. And some people do like play online games, it depends on one's hazard and preferences. Various people just don't feel the fun if they don't play for money and all other online games seem mimic, others may hope to gain something.

Everyone's hobbies is different. I agree with your opinion about the fun and entertainment of online games and we should play game online instead of playing gambling continuously. However, not everyone is interested in online games. For gambling addicts, I think they have considered it a game and they want to make a lot of money from gambling. I think it is much more thrilling to play with money. Definitely gets your adrenalin pumping when you are winning and losing real money.

Just a matter of taste. Everyone has his own liking and disliking. Some people may find gambling as thrilling but this world is full of individuals with different interests.
