Still looking to buy 1400 more MSC guys!
Olimpiata has agreed an adjusted rate of 1000 MSC for 30 BTC. Any reputable members willing to handle an escrow?

I'd do escrow if you think that I'm reputable enough.
Edit: I have bought Mastercoins from someone myself, so I think I can tell if a Mastercoin transfer was successful.

Thanks for the offer maxmint...

I guess you would hold the BTC while I transfer the MSC to Olimpiata - Olimpiata is this acceptable to you?

This is perfectly acceptable, yes. I'm ready now (just waiting for the 30 BTC to confirm in my wallet).

lishbtc and Olimpiata: would you like to go in private mode (communication via PM) or would you prefer doing this in public here on the thread?

What BTC address do you want to receive the MSC at?

My preference is public - this is all new so transparency can only help Smiley

lishbtc, please let us know your sending Mastercoin address. We'll have to check if there's a balance first.

So to confirm:
1) Olimpiata sends 30 BTC to maxmint for escrow (please advise address)

2) I will transfer 1000 MSC to Olimpiata by sending the following 3 transactions 0.00006 from my address 12bDX26J84x545pzfSZouULeqjfBtAe9Lv:

1EXoDusjGwvnjZUyKkxZ4UHEf77z6A5S4P
1QF9Hag3nyjAcXRd6mFrL5KyM3r71hVu2T
1Q4jxXvLTeknEvXm62YkjFETs8sCkVhePv

3) Once the 3 transactions above appear in the blockchain, maxmint will release the 30BTC to my receiving address 1LqVYQunBMCmiiNzY62Z6oYPzwM2hGE38h.

Cheers

Just to make sure I understand:

The three small bitcoin transactions that you send to my bitcoin address will, according to the mastercoin protocol, assign the mastercoins to my address?

I am still waiting for confirmation on the 30 bitcoins (0 confirmations yet...), but am able to trade as soon as they arrive Smiley

My wallet address is 1QF9Hag3nyjAcXRd6mFrL5KyM3r71hVu2T.

Just to be on the safe side, do you have full control over this address (meaning you have access to the private key of this address)? This would be essential to be able to send Mastercoins later.

Sending address 12bDX26J84x545pzfSZouULeqjfBtAe9Lv seems to have enough balance to be able to send 1000 Mastercoins, I checked manually and via mastercoin-explorer.com.
Entering destination address 1QF9Hag3nyjAcXRd6mFrL5KyM3r71hVu2T in MastercoinAdvisor gives this result:

Quote

Step 2: Send exactly 0.00006 BTC from your address to each of the following 3 addresses in one transaction:

The Exodus Address:    1EXoDusjGwvnjZUyKkxZ4UHEf77z6A5S4P
The recipient address: 1QF9Hag3nyjAcXRd6mFrL5KyM3r71hVu2T
The data address:      1Q4jxXvLTeknEvXm62YkjFETs8sCkVhePv

Same data address as lishbtc posted, so all looks good so far.

The escrow address for the transfer of 1000 Mastercoins from lishbtc (12bDX26J84x545pzfSZouULeqjfBtAe9Lv) to Olimpiata (1QF9Hag3nyjAcXRd6mFrL5KyM3r71hVu2T) is this:
1Hn1ocPkadSHyEFkFUMhKGuMgkAXzPQgt3

Olimpiata, please send 30 BTC to this address. We can continue with the transfer once we see incoming funds:

Addresses seem to be correct, not absolutely sure about the syntax.

Nevermind - syntax was wrong but found the correct method.

I see the BTC escrow is confirmed, sending the MSC transactions now.

Yes, 30 BTC on escrow address received and confirmed.
As dacoinminster noted, make sure to send all parts at once:

Also, make sure you send them all at once. The spec originally called for being able to send them one at a time, but nobody has done it that way yet, and it may be unsupported.
