People are paying .1 per mastercoin now and btc is at $200. I can only see the value going higher. Great job guys!

Loving the ride too and waiting for the first ever MasterCoin distributed exchange.

It's not even on a decentralized exchange yet so these are the early adopter stages. In a month when the distributed exchange is working expect 1:1.

The first ever distributed exchange between two crypto-currencies is going to be a pretty big deal, IMHO.

Still, while I'm not planning on selling my own MSC at the current price, keep in mind this run-up is being driven by speculation - a very fickle source of value.

What I'm saying is: it's going to be a wild ride, and even in the best-case scenario there will be some huge pullbacks on the way up. I've said this before: distributed currencies are an inherently risky investment, and nobody should be putting their life savings or rent money into this.

So, only invest money you can afford to lose, and then enjoy the ride, wherever it goes Smiley

This is a bearish signal. I think its time to create a Mastercoin Speculation thread.... Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Just a heads up on this: he does indeed appear to have done a runner.

Communication was quick, then I deposited the money. Communication stopped, though he has been online several times since. A harsh, 10 BTC lesson learned.

Due your due diligence people. You are not immune.

Just a suggestion to MSC holders. There is no benefit of pumping the price at this point when the price is based on pure speculation and future hopes. Actually selling MSC at a fair price will increase the amount of people involved in the  Mastercoin ecosystem which benefits the project much more.

True. I had many offers in the 0.12-0.13 range but I decided to sell on 0.1 instead!
We have to see more long term - we need many people in this in no bubble prices..

I'll be offline for the rest of the day. Any changes to the order book or escrow requests will be filled tomorrow.
Also, I promised to provide a public trade history – I will do this, but I have to filter out private trades first.

We are currently in an active escrow deal, I send my funds to the BTC address.
Where are my mastercoins? How can you get offline without completing the deal?

Huh I don't need to be online for the completion of a trade. Once the seller sees incoming funds on the escrow address, he sends Mastercoins directly to the buyer.

Sold, please remove my order. Thx.
Maxmint when you're back online please add a sell for 200 @ 0.14.
Please add my buy order.

275 MSC for 0.08 each.

Thank you.

The order book is a bit confusing, there are a lot of bids at 0.1 and 0.120 and still people traded at 0.14 last night Huh
What is the lowest bid available? Meanwhile I would like to thank Max for this painful job of ordering our hazy speculations Smiley

Maxmint please add another offer in the order book:

75MSC for 0.5BTC each, total 37.5BTC

I am proceeding with resending the 25MSC to HammerFist.

Also give me a unique BTC address of yours to tip you!

I have a buyer (200MSC @ 0.12) since yesterday but we couldn't do escrow. So we postponed it till today when escrow would be available so I'm waiting for the buyer to come online before I can complete the deal and have Maxmint delete my ask. Sorry for the confusion.
