mining pow ?

No. Proof of stake so first you need some BTC2 in your Bitcoin 2 Core wallet (even 0.0001 will let you try to stake) and then you can just sit and wait while it is forging AKA mining.
Although technically speaking under the hood it is like PoW but the difficulty gets reduced by your stake to the extent that even crappy laptops that have enough coins can mine really well and the power of the computer doesn't much matter.

Now that the wallets are out, the project has a lot more credibility and we will start contacting the exchanges.

It is Quark, but the amount of your stake affects the difficulty.

Hey, are the masternodes already available for bitcoin 2? I don't see them on your roadmap. If not, when will the masternodes be available?

There are so many promises for this this coin, such as using TOR and having masternodes, I think this is a very ambitious coin. Also is there a dev team list somewhere I am missing? I definitely want to look into this project more if the team is full of decent people.

Also has an independent website or anyone analyzed and rated bitcoin 2?

Yes you can already run a Masternode and Tor is already supported. You could even run a Tor Masternode.

Here is how to setup a bitcoin 2 Masternode: https://www.bitc2.org/bitcoin-2-masternode-guide

And here is the guide for using Tor with Bitcoin 2 Core wallet:  https://github.com/BITC2/bitcoin2/blob/master/doc/tor.md

Can't please everyone. To the average joe the name Bitcoin 2 sounds a lot better than some obscure name like Obylus. To some of the crypto savvy people perhaps not. It stands out more if nothing else. Made you comment. Ha!

Where is the blockchain explorer (link) ??
Looks like a good alternative of BCH. Will have to wait and see how the dev keep up to his word.

The design of the wallet looks far better though.

Do you hear about Bitcoin Cash? This is good naming? BTC, BTH, BTC2... I think that "BTC 2" is realy good name for new anonymous iteration of Bitcoin. I think that we will see a 1-3$ price for 1 BTC2 in few month.

The wallets have built-in blockchain explorers. A web version will be launched soon.

Ah! Yes! After fiddling into the tools section I found it.
Anyways, you guys have a long way to go. I hope it doesn't turn out to be another pump and dump coin. Good Luck.

By the way, when will it land into an exchange?

It's a lot better than Bitcoin cash to be honest!

It is very impressive progress and project. Only a small pity is I don't have win and linux in my hand. I need go back home (am on trip now) to install the wallet.
