Alright. Thanks. My wallet is stopped syncing at block 2235. Then found that it's same for everyone after going through the forum. Will keep waiting  Smiley

any updates about this issue?

Only that it will be fixed along with the release of a new version of the wallet.

how to mine? i hope coinbase support it?

After the release of a new version of the wallet you can stake/mine if you hold any amount of BTC2 in your Bitcoin 2 Core wallet.
We will contact exchanges and other wallets after the new version has been released. Coinbase as well.

For now a Bitcoin 2 wallet. Some third party/multi crypto wallets may support BTC2 later.

I hope I can install the wallet in my workshop soon. I only have Mac Pro in hand now. This project looks different from other Bitcoin forks. Sound interesting.

Just download the linux wallet for my Centos 7 machine. The wallet works well except the sync problem. It's the same problem for other guys.
Looking forwards to a new version of wallet.

New version coming soon with the following changes along with others:

Fixes:
- Zerocoin denominations smaller than 1 zBTC2 can now also be spent.
- The bug that caused the crash after block creation in some scenarios was fixed. (That made clients think that they aren't synced because no new blocks were being created while the bug was being fixed.)

Changes:
- Each unspent mature output (that usually means unspent received transaction) now gets a higher chance of being staked in order to create a block. (25 chances instead of 1 per attempt.)
- Minimum staking difficulty will be easier. (To crypto currency programmers: Maximum target number is higher.)
- Difficulty will be adjusted every 10 blocks instead of every block which makes difficulty adjustments more accurate in Bitcoin 2's case.

Blocks are being created again. So even the current version of the wallet should be able to synchronize and transact now. New version coming soon (probably this week) with the following changes along with others:

- Bug fix: Zerocoin denominations smaller than 1 zBTC2 can now also be spent.
- The bug that caused the crash after block creation in some scenarios was fixed. (That made clients think that they aren't synced because no new blocks were being created while the bug was being fixed.)

It is nice to see the update. I will try to sync my wallet tomorrow.
Will we expect other bugs?  Angry Angry

Good news, but I think it's probably better to wait for new updates to the wallet. I hope the developer will fix everything quickly.

The previous version was rushed out due to our deadline which caused the two bugs to slip through. You won't have to expect bugs with the version that we will declare exchange-ready.

Hi, jack, have you already distributed the bounty to us?
I sync the new wallet, but see the zero balance for my bounty address.

Hello guys!
When we can see first exchange? Maybe cryptopia or something?

P.S. how much coins we need for staking? 1000?

Hi, jack, have you already distributed the bounty to us?
I sync the new wallet, but see the zero balance for my bounty address.

It was paid. Did you create or import the address 13UCyZt5cg3E1iiPinhcMKUH7sr1sCyhon already? (Is it listed in the receiving addresses when you click "File ... Receiving addresses" ?) Did you sync past block number 2265?  Either way, the current version still has the problems and it is not fixed yet. So patience until the release of the new version please.

First exchange would come after the fixed wallet has been released. There's no minimum amount for staking. A really low amount will let you attempt to stake. This will work better with the fixed wallet however.
