Hi,

Ran into some trouble.
I'm new to BTC2 so I had no relevant software prior.
I installed the latest version 2.1.1 but it didn't work. It showed the startupscreen with logo for like 10 seconds and quit.
Uninstalled it and installed the previous version.
This one did work and I let it synchronise completely.
Then I installed 2.1.1 again (without uninstalling the previous).
Ran it and totally worked, fully synced.
 
Then I imported a privkey.
Took a while rescanning and then it quit, no message in the console.
No balance either.
The privkey did hold funds at time of fork.
Tried another one and again no result. Balance 0.00 BTC2

Someone have an idea?

Just notice about this coin again I forgot due to low interest of the people into this fork. Is there any place to trade this coin and to make sync faster the core wallet. Any online wallet service available to use for storage?

After the first 1400 blocks the syncing becomes much faster. We're starting to make online wallets soon.

Dude this is not an ICO project neither collecting money from investors, now if your issue is the private key to retrieve this fork, nobody here push you to do it.. (Optional) but dude, no one here who've done the private key method to retrieve btc2 complaints that their btc was gone..

My question is, do you have a bitcoin inside that private key? If no, of course you also get nothing.

Now that balance came up.
I would like to know what happened?

Claimed more that still doesn't show up.

After cleaned up my desktop from dirt and add additional 8GB ram (16GB now) I got an error with my btc2 wallet it say's "bitcoin2-qt.exe has stopped working" anyone here got this error? I'm using the latest version, befeore I clean up my pc, my wallet running fine.. But after the cleaned up and adding another 8gb of ram, the error popped up. I hope @jacklezz will answer this error.. Thanks

After cleaned up my desktop from dirt and add additional 8GB ram (16GB now) I got an error with my btc2 wallet it say's "bitcoin2-qt.exe has stopped working" anyone here got this error? I'm using the latest version, befeore I clean up my pc, my wallet running fine.. But after the cleaned up and adding another 8gb of ram, the error popped up. I hope @jacklezz will answer this error.. Is it the only app on your computer that is failing since cleaning and adding the RAM? Did you try the previous, 2.1.0 b version after doing that to your computer? If not, try it from: https://github.com/BITC2/bitcoin2/releases

hi, jackleszz, what's the expected benefit per day by running a masternode?

Total pool of rewards for masternodes is around 288 BTC2 per day so they get that much divided by the number of masternodes online. (25% of new block rewards). Right now, with only 3 masternodes online, each one gets about 96 BTC2/day (288 / 3 = 96).

where can we monitor the current number of live master nodes?

Bitcoin 2 Core wallet's Tools - Information dialog displays: "Number of Masternodes".

Update:

This turned out to be due to most of his addresses being in the Segwit Bech32 format. Unfortunately Because Segwit is not supported by Bitcoin 2, they cannot be claimed. A note about this has been added to our website.

A block reward of more than 0.6 happens sometimes, because you got the block reward + transaction fees for that block.

No, you can keep running 2.1.0.

The 2.1.1 release is a sort of a stepping stone to a more important new version later on.

Sorry for the dumb question, but (if I am understand correctly) this is a fairly new project, right? Are there any added advantages for the early investors?
