I almost got scammed on twitter by a fake account. Scammers are setting up fake accounts pretending to be other people/ICO's/Tokens. It's very tricky if you are not paying attention. Make sure you check spelling on all names to be correct. Be careful who you give your info to. Even if it's just your email address. Scammers will not stop scamming so watch out and pay close attention to what you are signing up for. Good Luck everyone and be safe!

Scammers contact me every single day in Telegram. They start with "Hey user". What a lame and obvious approach. They are my greatest entertainment. I joke with them and mock them severely.

This raises concern.. As I experienced while following the bounty of facebook in the spreadsheet there is a fb link similar to mine .and my personal photos are used by other social networking people to create an unclear status about crypto ...

I've had loss due to my own wrong decisions but I've never been scammed personally by anyone.
Though I've lost some on a hyip but I was fully aware of the risk.

i have been scammed on this forum but not really.
i joined signature campaigns for 2 months and turned that ICO a failure.
VALUS was the ICO i promoted for 2 long months and the developer shut down the ICO as the sale didn't reach the soft cap.
i feel like i was scammed with my time.

I personally often get projects that are not responsible or can be a scam. It's something everyone does not want. I as a participant bounty and investors are not willing to reoccur whose name is a scam project.

There are also a lot of scammers sending emails trying to fool us with links to a phishing sites and myetherwallet.com is the most common site being disguised. I "almost" fall on this trap but thank God I noticed that "e" is different from "ê" which is quite not obvious at a first look.
I can't help myself but to reply "Kill Yourself" and "Get Lost" everytime I receive it again.

I was invited by an email to participate in the airdrop.   When registering, I had to specify the private key of the MEW. Well, I found it suspicious and did not participate in this airdrop. Later it turned out that they were scammers.

I've been scammed before with a group who introduced themselves as a legitimate altcoin. At first they are paying the members but after about a month when they have enough of the members money they suddenly disappear. So I'm extra careful in joining new investments now.

So I need to be wary of greetings from strangers from twitter and telegram, and I can get a variety of people masquerade as ICO project every day to ask if I need to buy tokens.

I was already scammed twice and all my effort, time and money were wasted. I had joined bounty campaigns and at the end of the campaign, the managers announced that the ICO or the project was scammed and they also doesnt know about it. Scammed now are everywhere. They disguise are legit and they really look as true ones.

We cannot control scammers in this world of crypto because most of us wanted to earn so we cannot say all wanted to earn in a good way some are lazy to do things in order to earn that is why they are scamming people just to earn quickly. Me myself have scammed several times but I make it a lesson that we need to make a security in all our accounts online so scammers will not get into it.

Scammers are every where that is why we need to be careful, especially in social media there are a lot of scammers, so better to know first all about in something before you put your money.
