He should have known that bitcoin is a volatile currency and may crash or surge anytime. Lesson learned dont invest money on something you dont fully understand do make time to do some research about it and only invest money you can afford to lose. Well, it is really hard to know what is the reason behind the Korean student who committed suicide. Losing a huge amount of money after investing in bitcoin has a point, but he's 20 years who have a right mind and can see that the future of crypto currency is not yet dying. It's been only 2 months and we have a lot of time to monitor and observe the movement of the crypto coins in the future. I cannot imagine any reasons behind it, but for those people who suffered from depression, it is better to tell your story to someone who you think you trust.

Well some of these stories are cooked because the OP never gave us any credible source and  its hard for me to come to terms with the fact that he took his own life  for a quarter of a million dollar and not more. Maybe someone murdered him and the police should investigate  further if this is even true because this guy could have easily made this 200k$ back if he reinvested with a loan or something because bitcoin is yet to sky-rocket this year.

Suicide is not the answer if you are going to lose profit. The reason why this person cannot take the risk is that, he is not well knowledgeable about how the market works and because of that, this person lose its profit and investment immediately.

The risks of cryptocurrency market are huge, and I don't recommend that anyone take out a loan or put all of their money into an cryptocurrency market, which is too risky.

This new is incomplete and doesn’t give relevance to the topic. I thought you said that the student gained $200,000 then what happened next? That student doesn’t understand well how bitcoin works and doesn’t understand the risks of investments. Yes it is sad but suicide is not the solution and this child should be educated well. Lack of support system may be one of the reasons why he commit suicide and we bitcoin users must always support each other.
