Absolutely not, because crypto is backed by too many users and bankers now. Also the nature of crypto is not scam.
Its because the faulty ethics done by the people that made the ban to happen.

Well, may be no government can really stop cryptocurrencies, in the same way no government can stop crime, drugs trade, prostitution, and so on.
But if there will be a common agreement between contries to declare bitcoin illegal, the vast majority of population of course wont use it, so bitcoin will became just a curiosity used only by borderline people.

Blockchain and Cryptocurrency was made and created so that everyone could enjoy the hassle free monetary system and this is our future of economy and trade.
Hence, nobody could stop nor block it and could take away from the people. Not even Governments, State, Organization or individuals could stop or manipulate it die to it's massive security protocols.
Even China couldn't stop their citizens on accessing Blockchain Technology even they already blocked every Cryptocurrency related activities.

Indeed, Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrency are the future of our money and even some countries aren't fully adapting it and others are banning it like China, still the rest of the world are adapting it, supporting it and even they develop their own Blockchain because they do really knew that in the near future everyone is using it and international companies are already on their way on including Blockchain as their marketing and operation advancements.
Blockchain couldn't be stopped.

A single government cannot kill the cryptocurrencies but if the whole world will implement a total ban to all of the countries surely bitcoin and all of the altcoins will eventually die,but it wont happen because there are some countries that fully support the cryptocurrencies right now like venezuela that has an ICO with a project being backuped by oil which is the most important commodity after food and water.

What we know is governments never want a economy that they can not get tax from it or they can not control. Therefor i would never surprised to see a country ban crypto and try to stop money going out of their country. Only thing here is if crypto is killable. Crypto is much more popular and worths hundred billions so it's gettind harder to take actions against it.

The government can not kill the crypto, but some boundaries can bind.In the coming time, you will see that the same force will force you to take the same crypto. If you have heard or heard about a new world order, then you will know what will happen to me in the coming days.

Yes, I think governments can kill crypto but slowly. As much as we want to be decentralize, but the market and our decisions impact by government decision. Let's take China news as an example, people who believe in crypto start panic sell and the market went down and it's still recovering, if the negative news keep coming from governments we will see red days IMO.

Well while governments cannot kill cryptos because we didnt need governments to start them in the first place. All governments in the world can connive or conspire to make cryptos worthless or make it an entirely black market asset. Truth is as long as theres demand for a product, no matter what governments do they cant stop it like drugs. but in the case of cryptos the strategy will be to make sure theres no demand for it..3

Governments can't kill cryptocurrencies, but can make their use illegal and dangerous.
But I don't think they like this solution.
The don't want to kill krypto, the only want to control and to tax them.
When they'll find a way to achieve this result, there won't be any need to ban or kill bitcoin.

True.. As long as they can tax crypto transactions and at least regulate them according to acceptable standards, I think govts will be satisfied.

I think they can. Because they have a power and another unlegal instruments. In another way they can occupate and use crypto in their ambitions. In general, I think the world is not prepare for the era of crypto.

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks
Even the world government against it. Crypto world will still exist because alot of company already apply blockchain program to their customer. But the regulation will effect the coin price. As long there is country that legal crypto, as an investor we don't have to affraid. World government againts crypto because they think crypto will burst like a bubble since the price rise to much. But as an investor i fell buy coin is just the same like buying stocks on wall street.

Of course they can do it and it seems to me that they are doing this. Because now it is constantly heard from all angles that there the stock exchange is closed, there in general the state prohibits crypto-currencies and so on.

They can and they will have more rules to make sure cryptocurrency won't replace fiat paper money, at least for unofficial cryptocurrency anyway.

Regulators cannot stop the use of cryptocurrencies because cryptocurrency or blockchain is the world's future. Instead a proper legislation to regulate the use of digital currency should bring into effect so that to protect people from fraud ICO's. And as per the current news many countries are trying to regulate and control cryptocurrency in an appropriate manner.
