I do not think that the world government can kill crypto. because even those who called the "government" are studying cryptography, they also use it to earn big money, they are used for their own purposes.

Personally, I believe that the government will not be able to take such steps. After all, it can not finish crypto, given the decentralized currency, which no one can manipulate.

I don't think a country's government can kill bitcoin. In fact, the attitude of everyone is not clear, some countries worry that encryption will affect the economy, and some countries want to gain benefits in the encrypted world.

There isn't a world governement just individual countries with their own rules and jurisdiction. Blockchain and crypto is here to stay no matter what you read in the press.

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks
In our world nothing is impossible to kill. Because there are always those who will support you, and even more so there is a black market, as well as the opportunity to go to neutral territory.

It is not as easy as one might think as the concept has become a focus of many giant businesses and a great investment mode.
Adding to that as most of them as decentralized it is hard to locate the sources.
If one wants to kill it then the internet must be stopped which is impossible.
Just my personal thought

Even they try to kill crypto completely, it will survive as alcohol has done the prohibition era in USA. However, regulations they will issue would drastically affect crypto and the market. Some tokens considered virtually as stocks could be banned.

They can kill one crypto, for example if they set taxation on it. However there will arise other cryptos, more advanced ones, based on some different technology and the life cycle would continue. Here lies a big question - if it is worth to do that for the government?

the world government will not be able to kill the cryptocurrency. it will introduce measures to regulate the cryptocurrency market. in the future, cryptocurrency will be recognized as a legal means of payment. I think cryptocurrency will displace traditional currencies and will be accepted by world community.

The world government can no longer kill the crypto currency. Too many people already know it, appreciated its undeniable advantages and opportunities and have already been successfully engaged in it. Crypto currency could be destroyed when it was only just beginning to appear, it is now impossible. True, it is still possible for governments to significantly limit the extent of its passage. However, people will start filing lawsuits with the courts about their right to deal with crypto-currency, and it's not yet clear what will happen.

Certainly, the decentralized cryptocurrencies aren't favorable to the world governments. They can't influence, regulate in no way on them them. And fortunately, the governments have no effective tools for the ban of cryptocurrencies today.

I think it is not possible for governments to kill the cryptographic currency exchange. the volume of crypto-currency units increased while there was no government support in previous times. I think the crypto currencies are very strong.

Can world Government Kill Crypto?
All company coins (Ripple, Ethereum, ICO's...) will get regulated in best case, worst case face faith like Liberty Dollar which operated for 11 years.
Company producing money has never ended well thats why satoshi is nowhere to be found, even so his work is decentralized and not a company.

Hopefully that won't happen. Usualy governments follow the masses, as the masses legitimate the governments.
Crypto has to become a thing, it's the only way our society can progress.

This article only proven the prowess of bitcoin truly have. No matter what a GOVERNMENT has plotted to take fully control of cryptocurrencies it will not succeeded just like they cannot gasp the air in their bare hands. The only thing they can do is to accept this technology and move on. They should just have to support this new technology and find a way to improve it, while  make the cryptocurrencies more soothed for both government and the cryptocurrency enthusiasts.

Other countries can kill crypto but to think that it can be killed all over the world is impossible because many countries accepts bitcoin in their government they cant be united in killing crypto all around the world. How can the government prevent bitcoin use when bitcoin is online and is pseudonymous. Bitcoin has many positive impact rather than negative so surely it will be accepted by world government soon.

I think the government can only impose regulations but cannot kill crypto currency anyway. I do not think also that they like to eliminate it. There are some countries that see the positive side or the benefits of crypto currency. Maybe they will just study crypto more.

Have there been cases in history when progress was stopped? I think no. Progress can only be slowed down
