Governments cant kill drugs which have physical form for centuries.
So they won't be able to kill cryptos, but they sure can criminalize them. Stupid enough to be implemented by govts.

Yes i agree to that, the cost of living today is very expensive and that is the reason why people are looking for another way of earning money and cryptocurrency is the answer because we can live a wealthy life if we are going to invest on bitcoins.

Perhaps in China, for example, with many ico's potentially scams, the government bans with the aim of protecting its people. And maybe this time crypto does not fit the overall economic plan. But that does not mean the policy will be permanent because after all blockchain technology has enormous potential.

Agree, any government within its jurisdiction can ban crypto just to protect the interest of its people most especially for the ramphant scamming activity.

The cryptocurrencies will live all the time whether governments want it or no.
I think it is the same story as with marijuana: you can legalize it and take taxes out of it or make no money.

In the past few years, there have been some big government plans to kill bitcoin, but it has proved that bitcoin has been alive, and the community has developed more every time after a policy impact.

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks
I think that Bitcoin's ban and cryptocurrencys will warm up even more interest and popularity from ordinary people. I think that's why they are trying to regulate, not ban. And in general to forbid Bitcoin - it's about the same as that to ban the Internet. Is it possible to do this all over the world? I think no. Is that a conspiracy. I also have an idea that Bitcoin is beneficial to world governments. Having a crypto currency is a way to launder corrupt schemes.

BIG WINNER!

The government can by issuing new rules and regulations. It can impose laws against the cryptocurrencies but cannot stop them. It can put restrictions on money earned by the cryptocurrencies may it an illegal tender!

In case most countries regulated the cryptocurrency I believe investors can still earn. Of course the government may not impose stiff regulations againts the digital currency. The income may get low but not low enough that investors will lose big time.

It was an interesting article. The fact remains that the government thinks we're toys doesn't want us to build your world. It is not just a revolution of money, it is a new step to get rid of the way of life of "shepherds and sheep".

Crypto industry appears to be here to stay - Governments can try and criminalize this activity but I can't believe even this will stop it

As I read today in the Russian news, the Government has allocated more than three billion rubles for the implementation of the first stages of the Digital Economy program, and several draft laws regulating the industry have been submitted to the State Duma. Earlier it was reported that in the Civil Code, the notion of "digital law "And" digital money ". Innovations will help ensure judicial protection of rights arising from crypto-currencies, and will give impetus to new ways of expressing the will of civil law subjects in concluding transactions. Thus, it turns out. that not all countries put a ban on the crypto currency, some are looking for ways to work with the new financial sector.

I think the crypto community will still be there in the future, and my guess is getting bigger. If the government has trouble setting up uber applications, do you think the government can kill crypto?

No they can. That is the simplest answer. If they can kill Cryptos, they would have done it from inception but by now, I'm sure the world government will also be getting in the line to join the moving wave now.

It might make sense if a government banned or at least limits something they can not control. But I think they are also considering the potential of existing technology. And it may be that the government that currently forbids crypto, is the country that officially issued its own digital currency.

It can only happen once they at least consider a single goal and that is to eliminate cryptocurrency. Governments in some countries can only lessen the use of Crypto by banning cash outs options and other way of lessening the interaction with Cryptocurrency by restricting the use of websites that can access Crypto.

I believe the government is currently reviewing the effects of crypto for the benefit of all parties. Because the government has a responsibility to maintain economic stability for its people. I believe in the future they will compromise with this technology.
