Why almost everybody suggest to hold?

i think they have given you a right advice. you can see with the market falls down what's happen if you sell your coins? you will lose your money so much. Unless you had bought with cheap price before and now you can get profit. So, let's be patient and hold

Reason to Say Holding, Think of the price of the market decreased after you entered the market, this time If you leave the market you have to leave the market with some losses, And if you hold It's not your loss, Your investment has been allocated.

Because in practise it's rather profitable then sell everything. HODL gives you a chance to increase your account rather x10. Of course this is not accurate, but such cases have been and not repeatedly

But have you thought that it is very hard to predict when the corrections will happen? I mean if you don't know when the correction will take place then how we can start selling our bitcoin and then rebuy the coins when it is real low. However though you got the news all over the correction is going on then it could be really late to enter the point of dip. I think it is best to hold and put more moeny from your wallet rather than compounding the same coins. That's what I think about this procedure.

Mainly because the market now looks ugly and bad, so people would suggest to just hold your coins because you get lesser chances of loss than buying and selling. The longer you wait, the less chance you get to lose your coins but has possibilities for you to gain profit instead without you doing anything other than waiting and holding.

I think the reason that's why they suggest is that in the end holder always remains in gain. It will grow someday and back to its normal circulation,just like happen now in  bitcoin,after a three consecutive dropping of its value price  people in a FUD decision,other are panic selling there investment,why mostly of the bitcoiner,is just holding there bitcoin,because they  have a still believe that bitcoin will rise again its value price in the blockchain.

Holding is one of the safest ways for our investment. We can't guarantee when the market will go high or go down. If we 100% sure when the dip will come of course we can use cut loss strategy, then buy again with a lot of coins. So we don't need that coins to be higher as we bought before because we come with more coins. I think if you believe this tech, holding is no matter, it also can train us in our life become more patient

Experienced traders will never allow a situation in which they become investors. They always sell at the beginning of the fall, and then buy at the bottom. I know some traders who quite successfully trade in a falling market.

Because in the long term you are going to earn far more than if you had been trading. Also trading isn't for everyone. Most of the people end up losing their investment through trading while hodl is a safer bet and anyone can do it.

It is just because the market will not forever fall, it will surely recover some time, it may not take a week, it may take a month. It's advisable to hold than to sell and get some losses. Patience always has a great reward. Most people make patient people richer because they are offering coins in a cheaper price, most good traders take advantage of this and buy at cheap price and sell when prices recover.

Hi all,
I have a really simple question or so seems to me cause i am a crypto noob.
I really do not understand why almost everybody suggest to hold when there is a dip or correction.

With my simple noob logic i think that when there is a dip someone could sell at the start of the dip or do something else (e.g. buy tether y i know the rumors or something similar anyway) and then buy again later when the correction has stop or decrease.

Obviously no one knows when there is a many days dip and when it will end in order to buy but even so one can save much money just for sell and buy in between even without predict the absolute start and end of a dip.

I hold as everyone suggests but i now realise that if i had sell even a couple days before even yesterday-and not right after the start of the dip and buy lets say now i would have save a bunch of money relatively with what i am doing now which is hold.

I really must be missing something since i am crypto noob orelse i cannot explain why everyone suggest hold while i fear that real pros are doing the oppossite.

I would like to ask only experienced people who know what they are talking about to give their opinions cause i am fed up reading pseudo crypto pros everywhere around. I bet many of you understand what i mean. Everybody has become a crypto pro . Well i am a crypto noob and i need your heads up.

I think the reason why many people are suggest to hold your bitcoins is because they know that you can get better outcome if you will sell it in the near future. I keep my bitcoins in a safe wallet and I will sell it 5 years from now for me to generate more income.

Do you want to save your future by just holding some of your money in terms of bitcoin. That is the reason for the people in this forum may ask you to hold the coins with Patience and holding will eliminate the unwanted loss of money by panic selling. It's better to hold the coin than to sell at low price.

You should know that the strength of the crypto price is all based on its use. They are definitely average, almost all of them advise you to continue to survive because by surviving at least we can provide protection on the value of bitcoin and other crypto.

That is why you need your own observation so that you know how and why they suggest to hold. Because for me, it's safe to hold than to sell it in low and when you see the market now its falling down. so better to hold it and wait until your target price will reach.

Holding our coin possession isn't really bad but would only applicable on some coins and not all the times it's suggest to hold since there are coins that do dump to its death but this is what we won't see on bitcoin itself. Holding strengthen the market and if you are selling you are contributing to the clash and for us to show that we support cryptocurrencies and that bitcoin is the future of money the best thing to do now is holding until bitcoin recover again. The whole point of holding is to reduce the possibilities of making mistakes by taking bad decisions, those that day trade are exposed to this risk more than anyone
