It's naive to think that things are as black and white as they may seem. These aren't exactly trivial dealings. I can assure you (for whatever that's worth) that Danny & Co. are putting in a concerted effort to right some wrongs. They may not do things perfectly or precisely as you would, but the one thing I can say for sure is that it's easy to critique from the sidelines.

Regardless, the statements i have quoted are clearly mutually exclusive -- there is no way to both have everyone and no one involved.

I am not naive.  I know exactly how things are done IRL, and that's what makes this such a disaster.  I'm seing everything that's wrong with fiat finance appropriated and aped here.  Sometimes on a laughable cargo cult level, and sometimes, like here, in a way that's uncomfortably convincing.

As for the conversation, I've been following it for awhile, and while the whole WeExchange thing is a mess, if anybody could sort it out it's Danny and his team. If you think you could do a better job, why don't you offer to do it? That way it could be shifted off off of Neo & Bee and put on somebody else.
