Hi everyone. I’m an account exec at Telia & Pavla BBDO, the agency currently handling the advertising and other forms of promotion for Neo. I was in-charge of the corporate video project you all saw, and had a defining influence in the concept for the TV ads which I hope you’ll enjoy. I first heard about Bitcoin late in 2011 while at University and started mining in early 2012, until I lost pretty much everything when Bitclockers screwed up; but I still think the world of it and have been working on my own project for several months. Nonetheless, you can imagine my reaction when Danny walked in our offices some months ago and told us what they were doing! I didn’t think more than a handful of people knew about Bitcoin in Cyprus. Today, Cyprus is buzzing Bitcoin… the media, the people – old and young, and we’re still at the teaser phase. I can’t tell you how happy I am that I’m working towards the island embracing this new technology. People have a choice; they can take their finances into their own hands or continue to trust the system that seriously screwed them (us) over. Personally and professionally, I’m taking on the role of educating people because this is a chance for the country to get on the map for something commendable. Danny and his team are leading the way, setting the foundations… A last word about the Neo team, Danny in particular. I have been following the thread since it started and I applaud him for the patience he shows when dealing with some of the criticism. For the last months that I have been working with him I can say that I have not seen someone so focused on his work, ever. He is extremely intelligent and works at a different speed than most people. If everyone he does business with could keep up, nothing would ever go wrong. I was never asked to post here but I felt like I had to give a shout.
Thanks for the kind words Andreas, Telia & Pavla have been brilliant from the outset.

I am normally fairly silent and patient on the forum these days as nothing is guarenteed and everything is still fairly high risk, but for now I'll just say this: I believe the criticism and scepticism from the bitcointalk forums comes from years of scams and failed business attempts, it's nothing personal. Even one of the most proven companies in the sphere, ASICMINER, comes under fire, despite it's extremely loyal following and praise ridden glory months last year. I think it's also something to do with the demographic simply being highly critical individuals anyway.
once neo and bee start to show success, you'll probably have trouble dealing with the praise and the fanboys.
Best of luck, I just bought more shares.

My quick statement on the Central Bank of Cyprus's statement today. An English overview can be found here: http://blogs.wsj.com/moneybeat/2014/02/07/central-bank-of-cyprus-does-not-like-bitcoin/?mod=WSJBlogI was expecting such a statement around the 23rd February, they have realised we are serious following the start of what is quickly becoming the marketing campaign of the year. We are not too fussed about their approach because we know they need to protect the banks. We will be releasing a statement of our own tomorrow or on Monday to get better coverage. They cannot regulate us and they do not like that one bit because they cannot stifle innovative competition against their dinosaurs. Luckily for us, the general public have seen these experts at work with their regulation skills, whilst their power only extends as far as the businesses they regulate. The worst thing for them is that it has only just begun.

As an example, [the central bank] cites the absence of legal guarantees around the ownership of Bitcoin, high volatility in its price, and possible use of Bitcoin for “abuse for illegal activities.” Oh my, but I guess the cypriots have learned what the advantage is of having a legal guaranteed deposit in a traditional bank? A short reminder with some of the the "advantages": - Hair cut if deposit is greater than 100,000 EUR
- Limit in transactions, 5,000 EUR overseas and 15,000 EUR within the republic.
- Daily cash withdrawals limited to 300 EUR
I hope your customer can adapt to live without those advantages.

The best paragraph was this one; So, is the institution –accused of failing to control the economy on the tiny Mediterranean island and allowing rampant tax avoidance and money laundering- saying Bitcoin is illegal? Not quite. Instead it warns that there are big risks associated with using the currency.

I hope your customer can adapt to live without those advantages. Right. Reminds me of a haircut Ukyo's depositors got -- 94%. On all accounts, not just those over 100,000EUR. Bitcoin needs banks like subs need screen doors.

Huh? Oh you didn't know I am PERSONALLY a creditor and not taking a single satoshi from Ukyo until I have helped him pay everyone back? Like I have said before when I have more personal time I will be helping him more, but right now I am concentrating every waking hour to the launch of Neo and our other subsidiaries.

Unlike the people who got 6 cents on the dollar, it was your personal choice to take 100% loss. Are you seriously asking for compassion here? I have no idea how much money you had deposited with your friend, so it's hard for me to gauge how significant a sacrifice 6% of that money is. Regardless, 94% across-the-board haircut is fact. That kind of a haircut puts the worst fiat banks to shame. Spin harder.

I'm not sure what is the point of showing in public you can make very dumb decisions and trust the wrong people.
Please, keep criticizing from the sidelines.

Haven't killed yourself yet, after being both a Labcoin and ActiveMining cheerleader?
Nah, haven't held shares of either of them for months now. Turned a decent profit on each though Thanks for checking in.

Please, keep criticizing from the sidelines. Haven't killed yourself yet, after being both a Labcoin and ActiveMining cheerleader? LOL get a life dude. Every time I come on here it's either you or crumbs...IN EVERY FUCKING THREAD! Spewing bullshit and negativity! Hahaha...wow. You have way too much time on your hands. You do realize that you have a terrible reputation here and that nobody trusts your input, right? How does it feel to be a worthless member of the community? Do you even own ANY of these BTC stocks that you constantly talk shit about? What's worse is that you always talk like you are a collective speaking facts, when you are clearly a single person spewing your own opinionated ramblings. You do not speak for anyone else, it is NOT appreciated. I don't come on here very often...maybe a few times a week to check in on things. I have to wade through so much knee high crap, just to find relevant info because of idiots like you. You clearly can't comprehend what is going on, as that is clear by your comments...how is it that I have a better understanding on the reality and current situation of these companies when I spend 1/10 of the amount of time on here as you do? It's more than disinformation and lies, it's simple reading comprehension that you fail at. It's gotten to the point where it's not even worth me correcting you fools because it's a waste of time. That is too bad for this community. Admins need to step up the ban hammer and continue following those who love anonymous IPs and continue to ban them repeatedly until they get the message through their thick skulls.

Just so you know...you should never assume--don't include me in your statements. Your statement is false, I haven't lost anything. You lack any credibility. Again, learn to spell and go outside or something. If you were such a saint, you would have compassion for others...which is clearly not the case. Get over yourself. Until next time...

Nah. Just noticed Danny trying to put a +spin on the WSJ article. Awesome news, huh? The tweet's cute, though. You made me click. BTW, Danny - A challenger appears! ... Our vision is to create a secure method for users to hold their cryptocurrencies and fiat without fear of losing value of those holdings, while increasing their personal wealth over time in a competitive interest bearing savings account called the “Armory”...
You guys might become the twin pillars of transcurrency banking
