But don't you think that we, that believed in him and the Neo idea, deserve an explanation why he simply disappeared on 18 March? Was he disappointed for some reason? Any health problems? In any case he is the CEO of a listed company and cannot simply disappear leaving hunderds of shareholders, employees, investors, friends and people who believed in him in the dark and with millions in losses.

Exactly. The death threats are despicable, but it is nonsense to suggest nothing is wrong and that it is all price manipulation. There are many dubious characters in the Bitcoin world, so I'm sure attempts at price manipulation happen all the time, but the fact remains that this is extremely bad news.

ROI is not a verb, the term you're looking for is 'to break even'.

Nonsense. Go and invest exactly the same amount in a non-BTC startup. What, a few thousand shares out of a couple of million issued? Less than 2% of the company?

Then go bleating about how the CEO isn't responding to your every beck and call - you'll get absolutely no reply.

Why should BTC-world be different from the real world? Real companies don't cuddle newborn baby investors with upset tummies every single day, nor should NEOBEE.

You gave NEOBEE what, a few thousand dollars at most. And now you're expecting Danny to be your personal messenger boy?

Such nonsense.

@NanoAkron:

Lol, so you think that not getting a comment from the CEO or a company representative when prices tank and trading gets halted is an everyday occurrence?
With publicly traded startups?
Care to list a few examples while I get some popcorn?

@PetePete

Those are lies and disinformation. Funny how you're so knowledgable with a 4 post account.

Danny claimed exactly the opposite.

@Herp

I posted one link! Without even saying anything, I wasn't claiming I was knowledgeable, I was merely informing the forum on what is posted on Reddit. Also I think that having 4 posts is irrelevant to how much knowledge one can have about NEO such assumption is pretty prejudicial if you ask me.

Not me

OK, just had a call from the complaints manager.

He said he does not know when there will be an official statement, that depends on Danny who is on a business trip to the UK right now.

That is all I have for you.

OH, and the person who called me back is English speaking so feel free to call them.

I have read all of the articles of newsit.com.cy in regards to Bitcoin and I can say that it is mostly media spreading FUD - as ordered by the gov - or they have no clue of what they are talking about.

In regards to Neo-Bee, I don't know what happened, so I have no position there.

^It was always a sleeper website, groomed by Mircea & unleashed on unsuspecting NeoBeans like a screaming Junkers divebomber.
Like that?

P.S: If you have more credible news sites with recent NeoBee news, feel free to drop a few links.  I'm sure they'll be appreciated.

Please don't confuse news with advertising.  Advertising is bought and paid for, and tends to favor the party that does the paying.

News is more of a crapshoot...

...and why were they were given away for free?....

source? or did you just add that in for effect?

Look at the first post, LMB susidiaries gets 40% of the shares. But in the latest prospectus they have more like 60% of the shares, basically they were given all the unsold shares, I wonder if they paid for them?

Has a company ever had to pay for their own unsold shares during IPO?

You seem to misunderstand the structure you are defending. There are two separate entities being discussed here. LMB Subsidiaries (Sub) which is controlled by Danny, and LMB Holdings (Hold) which is what was selling the shares. In the beginning, Sub was going to get 40% of the company Hold, the other 60% of Hold was for sale to the public. The shares being sold were for equity in Hold. But not all of the shares sold. Those shares should have been retained by Hold, and they would not receive dividends. Instead, all those unsold shares were handed over to Sub, for free (unless they paid for them, which was my original question).
