What are the prizes for the PCB design contest?

Are there any parameters as to what you're looking for? Requirements? Anything?

The wait is finally over: yesterday we picked up the first few samples of our CoinCraft A1 ASIC chip

Because of the extremely limited supply of this first test batch of chips, we will be giving for free 2 CoinCraft A1 chip to 10 selected developers that have already expressed their interest on the forum in the past months. All other users are of course welcome to apply for the contest too, but in that case the sample chips are going to be sent only after mid January.

Congrats!

Regarding samples - if I don't make it in the first group please consider me for the second! Smiley

 Looking to purchase another 2TH for delivery in Q1 myself.

 -Black Arrow is out due to having a horrible customer service experience
 -HashFast is out due to their shenanigans
 -Coincraft March pricing does not make sense
 -KNC 3TH won't run in my household on a single circuit / No 28nm products presently available for purchase
 -LOL @ Avalon Gen2
 -Waiting to see what ASICMiner does with their Gen3
 -Current Bitfury pricing is insulting
 -BFL is out on principle

 I mean thank God for Bitmain, but the options aren't looking good at the moment.

 So, I wait Sad

We are living in the same world my man.  Just trying to keep up.  I won't/can't pay the KNC price because I would like to stay married.
Black Arrow I don't trust much but I have not ruled them out.
You forgot to list all the scams.  lol
Sushi it is and I hope they come out with something more powerful.  I am not going for GB #6 as the price is too high now.
I am waiting for what will be my last 2 Bitfury h-boards.
Maybe one of the 28nm chips will come up for sale and we can make our own.

FYI Hashfast just shipped batch 1. I have tried to get chips from hashfast and Cointerra for our project no luck. I would think if i where them i would sell my own miners and not sell the chips. That's how I think they do it.

They shipped only one unit. They haven't shipped batch 1. Please stop spreading lies and check HF thread.

Those sure are good news. Some of those enthusiastic posts/users seem to be new to the story apparently... judging by incorrect spelling like "bitmain" vs. "bitmine".

However - the "show the world how Swiss can handle ..." thing is wishful thinking and not possible anymore; I was expecting/trusting this very promise too and got disappointed once again.

Expecting delivery (as announced and agreed on) on 3rd of december 2013 or at least at 16th of december, where bitmine planned to have 95% of all orders delivered. (especially as very early customer)

Things are looking much like a 6 weeks delivery delay to me (maybe more) - which are ages in bitcoin mining time;
I probably don´t have to mention that.

The customer protection plan provides only small comfort as it´s certainly not minimizing the loss of generated btc at all;
it only sounded good at the time it was agreed on - but of course those were the risks.

@bitmine , @giorgiomassa:
Nonetheless - your communication to existing customers sucks imho. We all know that you have a lot of support handling to do.
How about you improve the communication channels to your existing customers?

I would also like to know (not necessarily publicly announced) - how the customer protection plan will be processed?
Could you inform your customers about when delivery can be expected (in order of actual delivery) - as well as how the additional % of hashing power will be calculated.

thanks

Do you really think anyone cares about working days - especially with current shipping delay?

Well I don´t!

Need some tech suggestions.  Tried what Sushi had me do and still not working.

I neglected to go into LAN when changing the ip of my Antminer to enable DCHP.  Just changed the ip address under WAN.  This is my third one and you would think I could do it right but was following Sushi's directions for the first time and it did not say anything about going into LAN.
To make it worse, the reset button is not working.  I have held it down for 10-20 sec, waited a few minutes and then restarted.  Nothing.  Still won't come up in ip scanner on any address.  Did this 3 times, same result.
Sushi gave me a few things to try but they did not work.  I am open to any other suggestions.  Let me know.

There, I can only connect
Finally someone who not only blow has in mind and the realistic situation
they have only after 3 weeks delay sample chips for the production coming probably in 2 weeks
but this will not be the only problem because only with the sample chips you can test and adjustments and they just try it but also that it has on the 10.12.2013 did you know and again concealed.
I'm also a further delay of 3 weeks off until they go into production and then again 2 jumps in difficulty are
and when you update the orders unfortunately also hurt themselves there each day 2-3 customers will have to upgrade
