NO ANSWER
when I can demand the return of my money??
Terms of sale: 4.5.3 After the 61st day of late shipment, you have the right to request a full refund and we will pay you an additional penalty of 10% of the initial order amount, including shipping fees. That's all I know! I need the exact date on them! Ie is 15.02.2014. or 03.03. 2014??? Here are my feelings!

Does anyone know tell me where supposedly produced?
I do not understand the position of bitmine or rather do not want to understand what they are doing... you will give the same return machines or money when you pass the so-called 61 days. If you ask your money they will be happy to give it to you no thank you or even the crumbs are already rich thanks to our investment...

Maybe you're right, but there is also: 4.5.1 Shipment can be late up to a maximum of 10 days from the agreed shipment date.

It's even worse than that because in the "Terms of Sale" they clearly state: http://bitmine.ch/?page_id=1001 5.4 Once you have notified Bitmine that you are cancelling the contract, Bitmine will verify that it complies with our refunds policy and, if confirmed, will refund you within 30 days of receiving notice of such cancellation for any sum that has been paid by you on that specific order. Refund will be made either by bank wire transfer or by Bitcoin payment depending on the original payment method.
So, 10+ 61 + 30... that's more than 100 days.

As for the Chinese contractor: define FUD. At the beginning, there was someone from Asia who wanted to invest in Bitmine but finally did not. That's basically why there were shares left to offer to me.
Just as a point of clarification - are we to understand that Massive Luck Investments (MLI), are NOT aligned with and not funding/underwriting the development of Bitmine's HW, as per http://coinde.sk/13VPOh1. I am trying to decide if MLI's involvement with Bitmine is a good thing for us, as it should ensure that things get done and all the 'smaller scale' miners are likely to get their rigs and desks, as these represent only a small fraction of what bitmine is set to produce for MLI ? OR If MLI pulled out and this is a bad thing for us - as it leaves Bitmine in a similar boat to BFl, where cashflow (or the lack thereof) is impeding progress. OR MLI are involved and as any shareholder is inclined to do - they are calling the shots. (This would explain the radio silence, bitmine gagged by investors?) And perhaps even the lack of shipping - as (speculation: MLI may well be demanding that the first X,000 units are given to them) Regardless, a simple point being missed by many actors in this space, is around communication. To say nothing, is communicating. It communicates that, 'we are not prepared to declare our position'. This is instaFUD and just leaves everything open to speculation. As has been requested umpteen times. Do the needful thing here bitmine - talk to your early investors (preorder'ers). Quench the FUD and fill us in. FFS!

Also I believe that bitmine DID ramp up their production NOW - but they didn´t do so in the last months it seems.
Where do you know this? What if I tell you I saw 2000 PCBs that were prepared to ramp up production as soon chips arrive kicked in the trash-bin after testing showed the DCDC was not powerful enough? GeorgeM is absolutely right.
Might be, but after I replied in a polite and civilized manner he put all his anger at me for no reason. That is not the way I discuss. At the time when bitmine offered the first CoinCraft batch they should have known very well why almost all other mining hw manufacturer had massive delays (except KNC that is). Also they themselves had experienced the huge Avalon betrayal or fuck-up (Asic chip delivery) at that time - and should have known how to minimize such delays in the future and to plan accordingly. Building a hardware company is a shitload of work; I think everyone is aware of that.
But to step on the plate and offer these products and emphasize as well as promise the special reliability of Swiss work ethics and blah blah is one thing - but then not even be able to communicate to their customers is as bad or worse than BFL, Avalon and the likes.
That is exactly the point. Why do you highlight KnC as the only successful company delivering (almost) as promised? I tell you why: they were the only one where the PCB was designed by the same company that did the chip. They knew exactly what to do to get the chip hashing as soon as put on the board. Everybody else had to go over (numerous) prototype revisions to learn the chip and adapt the HW - this is what is happening here. HashFast are no idiots, CoinTerra are not, and Bitmine engineers are neither. Also, look at my DIY thread: I supplied 20 projects with chips for weeks now (among them the usual suspects: burnin, c-scape/intron, WASP, marto74) and only marto74 has demonstrated a working product so far - for a simple reason: he had a board for Avalon rev2 chips with verified DCDC block where he more or less replaced those chips with A1. No other project has provided a working design so far. See, it can not be that easy then. Communications is a hugely important part of every successful company and transparency is a huge part of that. We had exactly ZERO transparency as to what was happening!
This transparency does not come for free. It needs someone to collect the information and present it - which can only be done by Giorgio right now who has to take care on a ton of other things. This does not mean I am not agreeing with you that transparency is bad so far. But we need to find a good balance between people asking for raltime updates on hourly basis and current practice of 'it is done when it is done' announcements. I see the issue and I am willing to improve it. My idea would be to have something like a) weekly status updates b) immediate announcement if previously stated deadlines can not be met Is this something we could start with? Giorgio this lying pos doesn´t even have the balls to tell the community what the hell is happening with the CoinCraft Rigs for example. Like a small child he is just ignoring the fact that customers (who paid for the most expensive products!) have a right to get informed because it influences their further investment decisions.
Please try to somehow control your anger. It is not helpful to get personal and insulting. Thank you zefir for the information. I really don't doubt your work-ethics or anything you do. Actually I'm glad that now at least one competent person works for bitmine. But the fact, that you as an engineer has to give us such information just shows, how bad the information-policy of bitmine is. This does not mean I am not agreeing with you that transparency is bad so far. But we need to find a good balance between people asking for raltime updates on hourly basis and current practice of 'it is done when it is done' announcements. I see the issue and I am willing to improve it. My idea would be to have something like a) weekly status updates b) immediate announcement if previously stated deadlines can not be met It's useless to say that WE ALL would really aprreciate that. I just prepared the request for the "Betreibungsregisterauszug" which will be filed tomorrow. I'll keep you updated.

By looking to DIY PCB for 2 A1 chips BOM list, posted on BITMINE Github (few days ago), it looks like, most parts (according to given part numbers) have tolerance numbers of 5% or above. This might influence voltage issues.
Voltage issues over 50°C temperature and overclocking issues, might be solved maybe by better choice of components for PCB, but on the other hand...it would be several months, maybe even 6, which will delay the shipments, and the cost would also skyrocket...even beyond present prices.
So we have what we have. It's as good as it gets, and let's start testing it, until it ends up in some junkyard after (under current diff) it gives what it can give...in 6-12-18 months of constant operation.
It's time Giorgio talks with some swiss insurance company, and solve this Cointerra way (they got CE certificate and payed insurance and have given lifetime warranty) - so BITMINE could pay insurance, ship, and we could all hold our fingers...
But appreciate the effort and openness regarding this story...Giorgio and his team will not recoup their investment before 2016 so please give them all the support you can.

I had contacted Andrew many months ago, along with friend in China to discuss Bitmine. still confused regarding the need for customer pre-order financing anyway. This week I can see no reason for a delay of customer shipments. will wait little to see what news is forthcoming because it is now overdue

Yes, please. Follow up with a status update as soon as possible. Everyone is waiting at least some information how things are going and when orders can be expected to be shipped.

Good evening Swissmining. Hopefully you will share the "Betreibungsregisterauszug" with us. This is the most reasonable thing for now. Not sure, what we will see, but from my point of view, the wait time is over !!!

In the meanwhile i would like prefer a broken nose over a hardware upgrade.
seems we need at least 2 weekly update sessions to get some overview and progress, zefir!
Still no mass production of desk units since announcement on 30th of January. Still no desk units shipped since announcement on 11th February. Still no rig production started as communicated to customers last week. But still collecting money from idiots for march week 4 pre order queue although no product and shipping date within sight for devices ordered a year ago
If you guys don't get you ass up, solve the open issues, remove or postpone march order queue and communicate in a honest way to your customers, i am required to ask kanton authority and lawyers for support to protect my money by end of the week.
regards

I don't think warning others about bitmine's unscrupulous practices is silly at all. Potential buyers should be made aware of the risks in doing business with bitmine and on purchasing products which use components supplied by bitmine. I'm surprised there hasn't been greater media coverage.
