The website 50btc.com promised a test mining on my account in November. Why is this not happening? Support 50btc.com is not responding.

Are you guys experiencing problems with opoening up the site today?

I started receiving the message:

"This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect securely to bitmine.ch, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.
What Should I Do?

If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue."

Now it works fine here. Maybe they just enabled Cloudflare against DoSS and DNS update caused some problems.

Whats this about needing two circuits? If in turbo mode it's utilising 3kilowatts, well thats only like having a 3kilowatt heater plugged into the socket... whats the difference?

Damien.
You can't plug a 3kW heater into a standard 110/115/120V 15A/20A circuit.

I admit it isn't very well specified on our product page, but the Rig design uses a single, high performance 3kW power supply unit with a single IEC C19 connector cable to draw up to 16A (at 230V). Hope this clarifies a bit  Smiley

Simple fact, American power supplies at 120 volts have less watts available than European power running at 240 volts.  A 3000 watt single power supply doesn't give you 3000 watts when run in America, Asia, or anywhere else that has 100-120 volt power.  It probably maxes out at 15A x 120 = 1800 watts.

Different companies have solved this problem different ways.  KnC announced that if you run in north america they will scale back the performance - i.e.: you won't have all the power available so they disable some of their hashing chips so the system runs slower...  whereas  Cointerra and Hashfast went the more expensive option and used two (smaller) power supplies so that you can run off two separate circuits to achieve the full power required.

It'd be much cheaper and easier to just stay with the single 3000 watt single power supply, but when more than half your customers (all of north america and most of asia) won't get 3,000 watts its kind of a bad idea.   That solution only works for European customers.

Thanks for the update. In this case, we suggest to stick on the Desk product which uses a standard ATX power supply that can be powered worldwide, the Rig is a rack-mount device which is made to be used in appropriate environment such as datacenters. We'll update our product page soon.

Yes we had a DDoS attack on our website today and were offline for a few hours. Now everything is back to normal, sorry for any inconveniences caused!

I'm order 3062 and they told me week 7 - wasn't happy as when I ordered it said week 6. And a week can make a massive difference.

BitMine - why is my order earlier but delivered later?

BitMine - please can I have an official response? My order number is 142 orders earlier, I have fully paid, and yet it seems I'm getting it a week later. What incentive is there for people to pay when queue position is NOT guaranteed.

If there is no official response, then I think people considering paying up front to get in the delivery queue should be very wary.

It is stated on the website, the position in the queue is confirmed only when the payment is cleared in our accounts. Some banks take less, some banks take more, if in the meantime there's a lot of pending orders (like it is the case these last days) then it may get shifted by a few days. Sorry but the only way to avoid this is 1) pay for your order as early as possible or 2) pay in bitcoins, in which case the position in the shipping queue is confirmed within a couple of hours.

I paid with BitCoin. It cleared immediately.

I have an order number EARLIER than SwissMine.

Why is my order getting delivered AFTER a much later order number? Please give a valid reason.

I had to phone you to get confirmation. I got NO email confirmation, well I did, but only AFTER I called. I can tell you exactly when my payment was.

What faith should others have if you are messing with your own process?

I'm not exactly feeling very positive about this...

Going by my (FULLY PAID) order number I should be expecting delivery in January, I take it? Order #3062 ?

No, I got NO email confirmation until I telephoned them. After that I got an email.

If two people pay by bitcoin (so immediate payment), and the LATER number is told late January delivery, then the order 142 earlier should be early to mid January?

BitMine - can you confirm this please?

Is anyone going to make a thread for "Bitmine list of orders - December delivery", like the excellent thread AFox did?
Hello Giorgiomassa,
I agree with the Zelek Uther.

Prior to the start of deliveries remaining 15-20 days, that you need
Create a separate topic is to list the orders from http://bitmine.ch .
Be sure to include a list of people made the order with https://shop.50btc.com/buy-asic. Thank you.  Wink

P.S. Just do not ignore such questions.

No, I don't think anyone knows the order, and the issue with an earlier order being delivered after a later order doesn't seem right to me.

It is better if a public list of orders of what was ordered, when, how paid and order number would be very good, very visible, and would prove that this is not a scam.

lol! But no, details of orders should be fine. It would allow everyone to ensure that they are being dealt with correctly and not left hanging like customers of BFL in the past year.

I do not know their position, as ordered by https://shop.50btc.com.
I think this is public information, if it's not cheating. Sad

I guess if you ordered at 50btc.com you have to ask them ..

If you buy at "best-buy" you can not ask for delivery the sony factory in Japan  Grin

yes, but with all due respect, Best Buy and the retail isn't plagued with scam artists like the BitCoin ASIC market. A difference of a week can mean Profit / ROI / Loss.
