I dont understand, in a monthly campaign, how does weekly post count will be tracked ? It was supposed to be 400 per month I guess...
What you want to understand all is easily manageable and its very good decision
It would be better promoted as 400 posts (or 4xx as month has more than 4 weeks) it would be unreal to Stunna to check if people have done 100 posts per week or 120 one 80 another etc. this way it seems that only 180 posts would be counted into payment not 200 as it should be.
It would be nice from Stunna to clarify out how he does mean it.
he can 400 in one week or 400 a month is not going to stop spam if he dont check posts, and thats final.
I know that and i agree with that but it needs clarification anyway!

Seems like Stunna have decided already, if you see the OP he have stated that only 100 posts per week will be counted, good bye spammers Smiley

it seems a bit too low imho, what if someone has the time to post constructive posts all day? not really fair but whatever...

As a hero member, one could do a full-time job with this. Not anymore...

This isn't supposed to be your job, the purpose of a signature campaign is you add a signature and pretend it doesn't exist and continue posting as you would normally. When the rewards are this high people are posting purely for the benefits though which is spamming up the forum. I am considering changing the way payments work and paying per rank instead of per post.

May you please clarify out if you're really counting it as 100 posts per week or 400 posts altogether?
Thank you.

The recent changes are surprising and I'd much rather see the maximum post rates be halved then cut to 1/6 the previous amount of posts.  The 400 max is not so good as  I was under the impression the rates would stay the same as last month based on your recent posts.  I think if the max posts went from 2400 to 1000.  That would make the message clear that spam is unwanted and won't be tolerated.

I suggest being more strict with the posts you exclude payments for.  I understand it can be hard to keep track of all that but if need be I will personally donate time to help you review them.  I assume with the new system there will be less pm's in your box?  If so people could pm you if they see users spamming and you could handle it however you felt was best.  Hopefully with some sort of transparency.

I think it is a good idea for there to be a maximum limit of users for the campaign also.   However I do like that new users can particiapte in the campaign but then that opens the doors to multi accounts and spammers.  So this is something I'm not sure how to deal with at this time.

Many of us members that use this service the right way will be drastically affected because a minority of people can't control themselves and I'd rather us find a better way to work out the bugs from the system so to speak.
I see alot of things to be discussed on this forum and I know that there is no reason to spam here.  I think it happens simply because people tend to get excited and over zealous.  The best thing to do is put some members on community post patrol and have them pm you with any issues and see how that works In my opinon.  Oh and raise the max posts limit please.   Wink

When the rewards are this high people are posting purely for the benefits though which is spamming up the forum. I am considering changing the way payments work and paying per rank instead of per post.

If the problem is the spam users are generating, one way of dealing with it is the following (partly based on what others and I have previously said):

  • Create a user managed thread, in which any user can post evidence of spamming by participants of the campaign. Spammers are subsequently kicked out of the campaign permanently, and perhaps given negative trust (at least the worst offenders).
  • To make it more difficult for users to create/buy accounts for using here, consider raising the minimum entry level to the campaign to Full Member for example. That's 4 months (I think) worth of time, and so these accounts are likely too expensive for most people to consider buying and then risk spamming with (given the above).
  • Limit the number of maximum participants in the campaign to avoid people just creating several alts and joining the campaign, which would allow them to better risk spamming.

I can't say I like the idea of us policing each other, but if spam is the main issue, this should solve most of it. Now, perhaps people will still post for the extra btc they gain, but at least it will be higher quality posts, since no one is going to risk their account when half the forum has their eyes on you.

I think the main reason the system is being changed is to save money, which is totally reasonable. Spending 25 Bitcoin per month on a forum ad campaign is ridiculous. The 400 posts per month limit does a good job of limiting advertising costs, I see no reason to change it further.

No one should complain about the new limits, it's still $100 a month for 'members' and $300 a month for 'hero members'.

That makes no sense at all. 400 posts per month limit is one of the worst options to limit advertising costs, there are lot of other methods which are better for both parties.

To be honest i wanted to earn some money with this Sig Campaign but now by the new rules i can make onl 0.16 per month which is not enough for me (Jobless and without any incomes) but ok i will find other ways to make money. 0.16 is still better than 0. Feeling bad that i didn't enroll earlier.

What about last month? Stunna made an exception for my red trust rating and paid my May campaign now what about the 250+ posts I made in June as a senior member?
I made .25BTC+ and is that now down the drain due to his new policy?

Dude why are you lying? You aren't even senior member yet so why are you trying to cheat? It seems that you deserve that negative trust and other users that will see this should add you even more!

As soon as I get paid for last month my signature is going up on the marketplace for a fair rate...probably not as good as PD's rates but hopefully someone can come along and scoop it up

I'm not lying
Give it about 10 minutes and I'll be senior

I've been working my ass off for this hard earned achievement
And don't use my red trust as an excuse you coward, most of it is illegitimate trust in the first place so shut your trap
You don't even have a clue how these forums work but you're already insulting me. You have claimed that you have posted 250+ posts as sr. member wich you are few days away since new activity period is 24/6 or 26/6 so YOU better keep your little tummy shut.

Keep my little tummy shut?
What type of an insult was that?

I was a few posts off senior member about 13 days ago, as soon as I get senior I'm eligible for senior payment
Once I get senior those posts become senior rates
I've seen this occur before, and it would be unfair if it doesn't occur for myself

And I don't have a clue how these forums work do I? Hate to break it to you pal but I think I've been here longer than you

Just because I have a -4 under my name doesn't mean you can show your upmost disrespect you pig

Posts won't effect activity much.
You will be senior at 24th. 2 more days.
And how did you do 250 posts as senior member if you aren't senior yet?

Not sure it's fair to say someone is unhappy with the new system and says so than they're complaining.  I think Stunna wants to know peoples opinions at this and have a discussion.  Just thought I should add that so there isn't a misunderstanding.
