Just tried to check my mycelium balance, I log into that Colu app and there is no balance, yet I can track my coins through the ICO site and I have private key info. I used the same login info, nothing changed on my end, so how do we get out tokens?

I'm the only one who is having a message saying "No server connection" at the bottom each time I open the wallet or refresh it?

What is the easiest way to change your Mycelium Marketplace name?
I suspect the only way is to create an entirely new identity by erasing Mycelium (after sending all bitcoins elsewhere or by using a second smartphone) and starting from scratch.
But please let me know whether there is a more convenient way.

According to the " how to trade"... Your Marketplace account is tied to your private key... so the only way to get that changed would probably be asking Mycelium support nicely, or generating a new "private key". I'm not entirely sure what private key they're referring to tho... if that is just the private key for a particular address, or the master private key for your HD wallet... I would guess the later. Mycelium Local Trader uses your bitcoin private key for registration and authentication with Mycelium servers. The only information retained by Mycelium servers is your bitcoin address, nickname, sell orders with the entered location, and your trade history

Thanks for your reply! I see that one of my old, non-HD wallets in Mycelium bears the green label, "(Local Trader account key)". That must be it then.
I deleted that wallet, but the Mycelium Marketplace still kept my Local Trader identity.
Then I found a function to delete my Local Trader identity and used that. And this was the solution. My trader identy was deleted, and I could create a new one while keeping everything that is unrelated to the Mycelium Marketplace unchanged.

It's working just fine right now. I believe It was only technical issues but the sooner they make the SPV update that should let us make our own servers and connect to the better, just like Electrum is doing.

I encountered this error also just that day when @European Central Bank posted here, I just ignored it and tried again in a couple of hours then it works again later. but the sooner they make the SPV update that should let us make our own servers and connect to the better, just like Electrum is doing.
Yeah, this will be a great implementation.
But this time Mycelium websites are down any ideas?

But this time Mycelium websites are down any ideas? Rassah said that they are moving nodes, that's why It's currently down. Subdomains are accessible though: swish.mycelium.com for example.

When a Mycelium HD wallet generates hundreds of addresses, is that a good reason to create a new one from scratch, i.e. a completely separate new HD wallet?
Or does an HD wallet easily work with, say, a thousand addresses? How about performance?

Wow.
Wonder if mycelium wallet will sort both tokens if bitcoin slits
It doesn't really matter If they are going to support both or not, as long as you control your private keys, you shouldn't be afraid of anything. It makes a difference. If your mycelium wallet doesn't split the coins, then what do you do? You would have to find a wallet that does split them, and export the private keys to the new wallet. When a Mycelium HD wallet generates hundreds of addresses, is that a good reason to create a new one from scratch, i.e. a completely separate new HD wallet?

If you have a thousand addresses in your HD wallet, most of them will be old, empty addresses that will never be used again. Generally, your wallet only works with the recent addresses that still have coins in them. All those old addresses only slow you down when you refresh the wallet, because it has to scan all of them. But you probably seldom need to rescan your wallet.

The fees you are paying are network fees, It's not like PayPal where fees change based on the country etc. so It doesn't matter who you are sending to or receiving from, they are simply based on the transaction size and to have them small, make sure your are not receiving too much dust payments.

Mycelium wallet isn't like coinbase that when you send some of your funds to the same wallet/client you will not asked for fees. Its a kind of wallet which will depends on the network, the recommended fee and the size of the transaction, so if you send to anyone you will required fees for every transaction, which will depend on how fast it will confirm buy choosing low prio, economic, normal and priority.

When I send from an HD address, how does Mycelium select which addresses to send from?
Actually I would like to know whether I can influence which address is used by choosing a particular amount to transmit. For example, if I choose to send the exact amount of one of my addresses, will Mycelium then empty that address? How about the fee in this scenario? This would amount to some kind of indirect coin control. Would be nice to have.

You don't send from an address. You create a transaction that transfers control of a certain value of coins from one set of private keys to another set of private keys.
You can't really influence which UTXOs controlled by your wallet are used in any given transaction using Mycelium. It has no coin control features. If you try to send the exact amount contained in one address it won't work, as it will then need to use other UTXOs to pay the fee... at which point, Mycelium's algorithm may detect a better combination of UTXOs to use to minimise transaction size etc.
