From what I understood, FB is actually protecting btc from scammers since advertisements on FB can sometimes lead to false information. They are doing such so that there would be less people falling into the trap of scammers...

Facebook banning to advertise cryptocurrencies on their site? Thanks for the mighty cookie policy i always get crypto related ads still.
Facebook could use Bitcoin to gain it's popularity in the world. They won't do well with their own currency.

Because they believe that Facebook prohibits bitcoin and ICos and other cryptocurrency
The new Facebook policy will not allow announcements of known digital currency exchanges or initial offers of currencies.
Is it to avoid fraud or false advertising? That's why?
It is proticting the people from the scam so that they advertisment from the social media and to avoid any problem.

Honestly I believe FB feels cryptocurrency is a threat. Have a look at BAT (Basic Attention Token) Facebook's receives 70% of their funds from advertising. It is not in their best interests to advertise ICO's that threaten their existence. Imagine if they advertised STEEM ICO today. Steem is going to destroy Facebook. BAT is going to destroy FB's advertisement revenue. Yes, I agree that some ICO's are scams, however with everything that's come out with Russia and election meddling- you need to look at the bigger picture.

Facebook isn't seeking to block or ban crypto. It's an in-site regulation they came up with in order to check against excesses. Get your Intel right..

I do not think that he is against it. The fact is that today not everyone trusts bitcoin. Everything new is taken with caution and is not always warm.

Many speculation from different experts arise in the community regarding Facebook's motion to banned Crypto Currency in their network. Their reason is to avoid people getting scammed by this opportunistic people that aimed to gather money and take information from the users. But other say that owner of FB wants his own coin, that's why they block advertisement anything about crypto

Facebook is a CIA/deep state organization to collect information from you. Of course they are against the freedom found in crypto currency. They don't want you out from under their deep state thumb.

More like FB against any coins that is not theirs. Which makes sense but it still sucks.

The ICO is not regulated by anyone, Facebook does not want to expose its users to risk. When scammers stop running their projects, advertising can be resumed.

The decision I read somewhere would be revisited anytime soon. It was not like hate to cryptocurrency but a protection to users of facebook and visitors alike.

I don’t think Facebook is against bitcoin. There are too many scam advertisements about crypto, Facebook is just trying to protect the Facebook users.

Sure, that is there intention. But how exactly are they going to distinguish 'scam' ICOs from legitimate ones?

I think Facebook ban cryptocurrency advertisement to refrain scammers from using Facebook as platform to illegally gain profit. Hopefully we will see more support from Facebook towards crypto currency.

Facebook's ban on creating ICOs-related ads is entirely understandable as there are currently many projects that use Facebook as a place to promote the lending model to gain an unfair advantage by engaging the user in investing. And now there are so many such models that Facebook has banned the advertisement of ICOs on their platform.

Facebook is just regulating the fast-growing type of scam which is in datus that 90% of scam ICO start are being advertise in Facebook. This data is base on the customer support complain desk in facebook. This action is their precautionary measure against this scenario. SO basically it's the sake of the betterment. But that doesn't mean that Facebook hates Bitcoin tbh.
... I agree on this reason that Facebook is just regulating the fast-growing type of scam. Actually Facebook preventing some fake advertisements produced by the scammers. And I heard rumors that the owner of FB is making his own coin. So it means there is a possibility that cryptocurrency will be propagating in social media.

Facebook already dies at its last gasp. Not bad attempt to glow in the current news by its prohibition with a mention of the crypto trend with this fake care of its users. Roll Eyes
