Facebook's ban on ICO-related advertising is due to the fact that many of the ICO project lending models and ponzi are advertising on Facebook for malicious purposes, involving people investing and deceiving. Most of the potential ICO projects are promoting on Facebook as social bounty campaigns, not using the Facebook advertising platform

I think more likely reason is facing the impact of national policies, because most of the current national policy for ICO is not friendly, so I can't join facebook bounty thread, it makes me feel sad.

All major online advertising platforms like Google AdWords, Facebook, Twitter, and Medium have announced a full ban on cryptocurrency or related advertisements.

I read this news some where few days ago that Facebook was forced by the FBI to ban cryptos from their platform. Otherwise it would be foolish of FB to ban something that is upcoming and happening in the current generation.

Because they believe that Facebook prohibits bitcoin and ICos and other cryptocurrency The new Facebook policy will not allow announcements of known digital currency exchanges or initial offers of currencies. Is it to avoid fraud or false advertising? That's why?
True. While there are many ICOs that are legit, there are many more which are frauds. They stop the advertise service to ICOS to protect their users since there is no practical way to filter it one by one due to its large sheer of ads number. If regulation kicks in and many bad actors are weeded out, i think the advertisement services for ICOs will be reopened again.

No they are not against bitcoin. They are doing that to avoid ICOs that are scam. Because there are too many ICOs here in crypto world that are scam. They are not against crypto currencies ads whoever spread that news are just making a FUD to push down the price of Bitcoin. Yes, I also believe Facebook is never against Bitcoin and Crypto. There are a lot of bad people spam the fake ICO sites on facebook. Maybe in the future facebook also uses blockchain technology.

Not only facebook but now google and twitter also banned the post and ICO ads on their site. I find that ICO scam status has dropped a lot since facebook and google banned ICO

Facebook prohibits cryptocurrency advertising, which is to protect blind investors. And Facebook is now ready to develop its own cryptocurrency.

Facebook are just avoiding unwanted controversies, because if something happened relating to cryptocurrency and facebook is tied to that, they would be under fire again especially that facebook is allegedly "stealing" data from people. They are just avoiding problems that can rise with the fact the some people abuse cryptocurrencies.

I don't think he's against crypto, but he wants to pretend he is. Maybe they're trying to buy bitcoin by lowering the price

They are very specific on this, I though all crypto currency. Well, anyway, it is a good news. There will still ads in facebook and the one you will see are legitimate ICOs, not scam. That will be a good thing and it will be the best for it. If facebook will continue to show ads, they also have to make sure if it is legit.

Cebook will only block ads for the ICO project, because many ICO projects are fraudulent.
I believe they are just trying to protect their users from all the fraud and fraud.

it is not possible for facebook to stop the blockchain technology because if they say they wan to stop bitcoin they are logically saying that they want to stop the blockchain technology and they are someway the leaders in the use of technological innovations, so how then cam they astop what they relay on to carry out their operations. i think its impossible.

Facebook, by the way, can be a worthy competitor in the market. Millions of people from all over the world use it and I think that a lot of people will buy such coins.
