I think this is to prevent people from losing their hard earned money through investing in scam ICOs. Specially nowadays wherein everything posted on facebook is believed by most people to be factual even without prior research and verification. Thumbs up for this development but unfortunately, legitimate projects with good intentions are also affected by such policies. I hope they can create some sort of middle ground for these projects to fluorish since social media is the new mainstream media and it has a lot more users than the traditional media of print, tv and radio because of it being very accessible to the public.

It seems to me Facebook is going to deal with its own cryptocurrency. probably, it was one of the main reasons to ban Bitcoin and ICOs ads. However, I do not care very much about these prohibitions.

Facebook reverses its ban on some cryptocurrencies ads and promotional campaigns. Companies involve needs to apply for the adertisement. So, facebook made a profitable move.
However, ICO's are still not allowed in facebook. Probably facebook has a data that most ICO's are fake. Facebook don't want to involve in any problem brought by ICO.

I think Facebook just wants to invest in fraud. ICO has announced on Facebook that people have lost their money. But I've also heard that they just want to reduce the relevance of advertising so that you can see more information about your friends advertising. Perhaps the prohibition of ICO announces is part of the policy

I think stamp Zuckerberg chose to purchase bitcoins with a specific end goal to do as such at the most reduced conceivable value he attempted to crumple the rate. To do this, Zuckerberg utilized restrictions in their informal communities. Benefit Grin

There are quite a number of Giant corporations and national governments against BTC that Facebook just makes the numbers , sometimes one wonders why, it got to an extent that they once banned ICO adverts, but again reversed the decision, maybe there are changes in perspective, but the fact that crypto is thriving doesn't please a number of people

I hope that Facebook will not prohibit crypto currency. But I'm uncomfortable with the fact that such a large social network does not recognize Bitcoin.

Facebook has to do something to protect their users since too many people got scammed from fake ICO (what was promoted on the Facebook platform). I don't think Facebook against bitcoin, they just prohibit ICO promotion like Twitter.

Sounds like they’re planning on launching their own crypto asset and don’t want to deal with competing products based on Mark Zuckerberg’s previous post on the subject: "There are important counter-trends to this -like encryption and cryptocurrency - that take power from centralized systems and put it back into people’s hands.

Facebook as of late got a great deal of inquiries in view of protection issues. Everybody is concerned that they will be presented to their security. This is an exceptionally bizarre minute. In spite of the fact that Facebook has prohibited advanced money promoting, on the off chance that it needs to dispose of the present circumstance, I am worried about the possibility that that Only utilize encoded computerized innovation to reestablish certainty.

People need to take more personal responsibility for their own lives. We wouldn't need as much regulation if people would regulate themselves. No-one can influence me so the answer is no, FB has not influenced me in any of my crypto activity including decisions.

Facebook is exploring ways to leverage the power of blockchain technology. They are exploring the use of blockchain. So this is showing that they are not against bitcoin that is based on blockchain.
