Read a few posts above, the price did not go up, the discount they offered from the full price went down...

I have followed Blackarrow since the very first post and was about to buy, but the first decrease on the discount and no tape out yet and March delivery (or whatever 24/2) & too strict wire requirements changed my mind some weeks ago in favour for another supplier. Orginal "discount" price $4499 or something like that was fine. However still following and possible buying later when they have taped out and delivered first miners.

I feel obligated to post this here because bobsag3 has been responsive to all my PM except for when I asked this:

I'm wondering why there's no phone number listed in the terms and condition just prior to making a purchase. And any clarification about what this is:
CWI welcomes your questions or comments regarding the Terms:

Commonwealth Interpreting Services Ltd Co
2005 Mark Street
Flatwoods, Kentucky 41139

What relation does company for hearing impaired people have with miners?

Ive answered the question a ton of times, and frankly the 20 people who feel the need to email me about this every week gets irritating.

I purchased the website from a friend of mine, and am still transitioning the domain and all intectecual property to my company. This process takes time, especially when your a small man operation like us.

I know the BlackArrow launch is 2/24 but I was wondering when you estimate you will be shipping your X-1s to customers

Wait a minute!

What kind of shipping/delivery timeframe guarantees do we have per as your "Terms of Sale"? What about when the SELLER misses their own delivery timeframe of the product/service (including hosted)?? Not a single clause where Black Arrow takes the slightest responsibility? What kind of accountability is that? Please clarify and update your TOS:

Code:
Delivery Terms
9.1 The Products are delivered to the delivery address specified by the Purchaser, unless otherwise agreed. The delivery date is provided for information purposes only and shall not be binding on Us.
The Purchaser is not entitled to refuse acceptance of the Products, withdraw, cancel or revoke the order or make claims for compensation due to ANY delayed delivery.

What?Huh So technically, you can choose to keep our payments forever without delivering absolutely anything?Huh?

Code:
9.2 Where delivery is delayed due to any of the circumstances constituting force majeure in accordance with "Force Majeure" below or due to any act or omission by the Purchaser,
the delivery period shall be extended by such a period as is reasonable in light of the circumstances.
The delivery period shall also be extended where the cause of the delay arises after the expiry of the originally agreed delivery period.

What's a "reasonable" extension period?
What kind of refunds would apply due to Seller delays??  Why are delays not explicitly mentioned as a reason to get any type of refunds?? This is the single most worrying part about Black Arrow....

Code:
8.4 When the customer pays in different currency than USD, any liability we might have (refunds, repairs, etc) will be calculated in USD at the agreed exchange ratio at the time of payment.
The customer understands that we are accepting payment in different currency only for the convenience of our customers. It is customer's choice to pay in different currency.

Are you saying that you'd refund us in BTC using the date of the refund request or the date of the original payment installments? That's not very clear.

What about returning exactly the same amount of BTC we paid when a delay is caused by Black Arrow, which in turn causes miner not to break even in those same BTC terms?

Thanks for clarifying!

how are you so certain about the same date?
and don't they have to ship to you first before you can ship to your customers?

I believe he means, he will ship the same date he receives them.  And since he's a registered Reseller with them, they probably communicate rough timelines to him.

first x1 render?

Is this box really sufficient for cooling the 55 Watt the ASIC chip consumes? Looks more like a box for something in the 5-15 W range. Just a thought.

This is not the actual design. Just an artists conceptual render.

I'ff = I've?  Just curious because the first sentence didn't make sense after I replace i'ff with I've unless "to" is meant to be "two".

Sorry to be a spelling dick but really... I'ff?!
