Its not possible this, litecoin its no decentralized like bitcoin. Not just Litecoin even other altcoins are same like that all alts are centralized from people they have big amount of their coins and they decide they do what they want.
The network is decentralized but the devs have the right to reserve some amount of the coin they have, fair enough if the purpose of the token is as security or utility.
Even satoshi has big amount of bitcoin too that make him billionaire right now. From my perspective, fair enough.

LTC is a good altcoin at the moment, prices are falling but I believe will recover quickly in the future!
I had predicted altcoin would grow back at the beginning of the year, but perhaps the prediction was completely wrong!

I have seen a lot of rumors out there they are saying next bitcoin is a Litecoin it possible?
When Bitcoin is itself testing Lightening Network (LN), I don't see much scope left for LTC to replace Bitcoin. Many LN are already up on network and working. This solves the slow TX and huge fees problem for BTC which LTC claimed to solve. It will be tough for any coin to replace BTC in near future. This might be a possibility in distant future. But it is not happening anytime soon.

Correct, for a long time many coins claimed that they could surpass bitcoin but now after each year passes and that does not happen and bitcoin keep being improved by the developers it seems that day is never going to come, something that I like since most of my money is invested in bitcoin and even if a new coin that was very good emerged it will be very difficult to surpass bitcoin popularity at that point in the future.

I don't think that Litecoin can replace Bitcoin. Litecoin is one of the old alt coins, so a lot of old investors got them very cheap, and are still promoting them, so  it can hold its price, but the coin itself can't really do anything. But I'm sure it will be a top20 coins in the years to come.

I would rather agree with Ethereum as the next bitcoin. When compared it seems Ethereum more have a better price and more stable.
But everyone has faith in each coin, and believes the coin will surpass the bitcoin.

Litecoin has been around a relatively long time, I think it has the staying power and is destined to grow with all the new features like segwit and lightning being implemented.

LTC is good coin but don't have that much capacity because BTC is the ruler in crypto market and after BTC, ETH is the best coin, now NEO also good coin and now ICOS planing projects with NEO, LTC dont have chances to after BTC position

I do not believe in a rumor. and also about the next bitcoin is litecoin. why?

because I see LTC has a slow development, and also has no plan, so when bitcoin down, LTC prices can not survive, even down as well.

and when compared to the NEO, I prefer NEO or ZCash rather than LTC.
DOn't believe in rumors. Litecoin is good coin but it is only altcoin that is compatible to bitcoin. Bitcoin is the king of coins. There are no coins that can have the same spec as bitcoin that replace the hegemony of the price. ETH and NEO are great coins too but they can't replace bitcoin until now.

i dont think so because in my opinion there is no cryptocurrency that willl ever surpass the bitcoin, not a chance for me even though we can see a lot of potential for this altcoin, if we talk about potential in crypto bitcoin is very consistent.
To compare Bitcoin with Litecoin is not a good choice. Litecoin lags far behind Bitcoin. I do not think it will overcome bitcoin. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency and I think it will stay the same.
Litecoin just an experimental protocol to test the bitcoin improvement protocol through litecoin's network. It will never overcome bitcoin dude. Some people are still misunderstanding about that and i would not feel surprised about that.
You can see that how segwit being tested on litecoin before it has gone live in the bitcoin network.

Litecoin is not so popular, may be ETH or Bitcoin Cash can be new Bitcoin. Litecoin is used by small group of crypto users, and it is not going up as ETH. So Litecoin is just small crypto.  Wink
Litecoin purpose is to make a lite version of bitcoin and that's why it's named after word lite and coin. It's not that popular that's right but it's already one of old generation of coin
and it's still valuable until now. Im pretty sure that people already know litecoin but not mentioning that much and thats why you guys think that litecoin is not popular.

Who said that bullshit?  Litecoin has nothing to compete with BTC, I've never used LTC and i am not going to try it.
Litecoin founder sold his share and that really matters. There are plenty of better coins able to replace BTC, but it is not LTC

I believe that Litecoin has a lot of potential, but I don’t think it will ever reach the same level of growth that Bitcoin has or will have. That being said, there are a few reasons I believe that Litecoin still has an immense amount of potential.

I agree with you. Litecoin's transactions are a lot faster and lite than Bitcoin. Litecoin will never be the next Bitcoin, but it is still great coin and very good investment option.

This is just fallacy and rumors. Litecoin is a promising currency, but in my point of view, unable to cope with bitcoin

With the success of the Lightning Network test, Litecoin’s transaction confirmation rate has been greatly improved, enhancing Litecoin’s application capabilities and scalability.
LTC will be a very big competitor to BTC and it is difficult to surpass BTC!

Fake bitcoin wants to get ahead of the original? Personally,I do not think that Litecoin can ever even just catch up with Bitcoin, and even more so to become a new Bitcoin.

LTC is gaining momentum on the market. Though, the fail of LitePay has damaged a credibility a little bit. But it seems that LTC is going to address this unlucky moment by propelling crypto payments possibility among sellers of goods and services.

Yes, it could have happened, but Litecoin takes a very long time to be able to replace the Bitcoin. For now, there are still many people who expect that the ETH will get past the Bitcoin. ETH very has the potential for it.

Everyone in crypto currencies has a favorite altcoin/token and they believed that it will be the next bitcoin. Digital currencies is a long term project so let's find out the progress of each project . Every project dreamed to be the next bitcoin but of course it depends to the project and use case and how fast they give progress and updates.
