Refer to bounty section of the forum, you could see most of the bounties and their OP with something like this, you will get [insert token] stakes after a month from a successful ICO.

Like when I told people to advertise my activity token and when I have enough money I'll pay them for their advertisements.
How many ICOs do you know which offered tokens for $0.001 and really made you 10000x profit?
Do not click on a thread if it's not started by trusted members, if they are promising Billion dollar market, they should not offer some beggars on the internet, they should keep their coins and get rich.

This is a forum where some lowlife beggar posts an announcement to 10,000 Waves airdrop and 10000,0000 tokens, illiterate cunt doesn't know how to spell 100,000,000 correctly, and you have 50 low rank accounts posting for a zero value token.

You know it's funny though since all the big projects and companies must still make an announcement here on BitCoinTalk before launching. It's like this forum is the gateway to blockchain. It means scammers can easily present themselves as legitimate huge companies. As for the ICOs doing a x10,000 from $0.001.. there are a few.. BTC, ETH, IOTA come to mind off hand.

Hey,

with all these ICOs going on in parallel it seems impossible to stick out for a good one.

Reddit and this forum get flooded with announcements of new ICOs making it almost impossible to spot good ones.
Facebook blocked ICO advertising.
Google Adwords blocks use of word ICO in ads in certain countries already.
Twitter is drowning in ICO announcements.
Listing pages are popping up everywhere, too.

What are the ways you guys use to learn about new ICOs and how do you find out the good ones ?

difficult to find the best, basically I personally just choose and speculate. every ico I see, I will learn fully. then i save to compare with some other ico. trying to compare and analyze it until I can be sure and find the most suitable I invest.

There is not an easy way to find good icos, the truth of the matter is you will need to go through all of those icos and read their websites, whitepapers and reviews and think for yourself, it is boring and it is a very tiring process since most icos are going to be a waste of time, but with time you will find a good ico and then you can make an investment and watch your money grow.

The only way to learn about a good ICO is to do a thorough research on it before investing. its almost impossible to tell which ICO will perform well . but if you keenly look into their ideas and implementation strategies, u may know what will work and what wont, bottom line is, make an informed decision.

ICO a lot and it's good. There is a choice of coins, there is always something new and interesting. Crypto currency is developing. Although ICO sometimes are fraudulent, vseravno their utility exceeds this temporary trouble. Soon learn to regulate and ICO, there will be independent regulators who will check the projects and the team of this event and monitor the expenditure of collected funds. So, in general, ICO is very useful and necessary for the development of crypto-currencies.

The best thing you need to do is take time to read the white paper. Try to check the information of the team. Check if it has already a working website. What are their future plans? Is the coin mineable or not. Did you get all the answer to your questions after reading the white paper or visiting their website. If yes, then  that is a good ICO. If not, stay away from it.

You are right there are an awful lot of ICO out there competing for your ETH contribution so it is the right time to be selective and make sure that you are investing in something with potential and a sensible idea with real blockchain usage.

On this all will not stop. In 2018, the number of ICOs will only increase, with a large number of them being either scammers or unprofitable. Therefore, you need to be careful when choosing ICO.

More ICOs were about to launch, many will notice it since they might feel secured now since there are government laws that applies in it. Many investors on stocks were transferring to crypto and they much preferred now to invest in ICO, we should just only be aware that we shpuld be diligent on finding a worth investing project.

Competition within the market is healthy. Yes I there are a lot of ICO's and it's quite difficult to spot the good ones. But the more ICO's are out there means there are a lot of services/products as an option.

Let's say it this way, Bitcoin is fried chicken. There are a lot of fastfood restaurants who offers this and it's up to us (consumers) which restaurant has the best one.

I add. You should ask questions to the bounty manager. Rate his answers. Calculate profits from the participation in ICO. Evaluate the project as a whole, he is real, he is in demand.
There is no perfect choice algorithm. Everyone has his own.

That is the truth. There are way too many ICOs right now. It may be taken as a good sign or a bad sign. A good sign because it simply means that ICOs are generally productive and successful as an investment-generating tool. The result of which is that there are now many projects that opted to raise funds through an ICO. Bad because it seems that the market is really getting overcrowded and clogged. And many of these ICOs are scams. There is no other way to determine which one is legit but through a very careful study of the entire project.

I agree there are so many ICOs recently which are just quite the same as the others, and there is not thing special about the it. Most of them are failures and have no value at all and we can hardly find out which one is really good enough to invest. But in any circumstances we must do research about the project and not depend too much on the community, we may get false informations, make decision by ourself.
