Blockchain is the engine that runs bitcoin. So the two works together and there will no one without the other. Bitcoin will need blockchain to work effectively and also bitcoin has made blockchain technology to be popular.
true, indeed both are interconnected with each other. because the blockchain exists because the bitcoin exists. so bitcoin is coin if there is no coin then blockchain does not work |

I don't think so mate. Bitcoin is the biggest driving force for the continuance, moreover, the success of the cryptocurrency market. When it was starting, we can all say and agree that Bitcoin singlehandedly launched the concept of cryptocurrency and has been the key element to its success. It was really because of Bitcoin that the market is known today. Thus, if it will happen that Bitcoin would be no more and the market would still be there, then there should be other coins that should rise to the occasion and replace Bitcoin's reign. |

Yes blockchain it can survive because it is just where bitcoin is build. But as we all know that the concept of blockchain is paired with bitcoin or shall we say the blockchain is made with bitcoin. Blockchain is not limited with only bitcoin it can be used with saving records such as medical also in apps. You are right, blockchain technology can be utilized for various things. The popularity of blockchain is comparable to the popularity of bitcoin. However, most people assume that blockchain can only be used for bitcoin, whereas blockchain can be adopted for many other activities. So, blockchain will still exist without bitcoin. |

So I think if bitcoin will die. Blockchain will also die.

Blockchain will surely survive without bitcoin, there are lots of coins that the cryptocurrency and blockchain will survive, ETH is also popular, and this is a sign that without bitcoin the cryptocurrency and blockchain can survive. And also as I see from the mass media Blockchain is getting more successful than bitcoin and it actually beated it up already.

Probably already many among banks or other companies, who have implemented this Technology. In fact I've heard there is an automotive company that implements it on its auto parts to test the authenticity of its auto parts. |

I think there is often a misunderstanding in between both terminologies. The blockchain can exist without bitcoin in theoretical sense,but not likely in a practical world where they are synonymous. the blockchain is the underlying technology that supports bitcoin.

Blockchain would definitely survive without BTC. However, I don't think it would be as massive a phenomenon in that scenario. The BTC hype is probably the biggest driving factor that got blockchain adopted as a more or less mainstream tool.

Blockchain synanomous bitcoin to ordinary people but blockchain is technology that bitcoin is using same as other coins not just bitcoin.
So final question, Can Blockchain survive without bitcoin? If bitcoin fails then blockchain will be questionable.
Truth is I don't know the answer too..lol

Blockchain will survive without bitcoin in any industry. And bitcoin was the first in it. Now we see ready-made examples of how blockchain technology lives outside of cryptocurrencies. I hope in a few years the elections in democratic countries will be held using blockchain technology.

Certain coins will be able to take its place as the leader of the crypto currency.It can be ethereum or bitcoin cash or any other successful coin that will manifest itself in the future.Transfer to fiat will already use these other coins. Crypto currency is constantly being improved and therefore we need to be prepared for various changes in the rating of any of the digital coins.It is impossible for what appears block chain if there is no bitcoin.
