I think yes, of course, because bitcoin has played a very important role to make blockchain work but I'm always sure even if bitcoin fails in the future blockchain will be a very important role to substitute bitcoin

I think now market has some coins that make a difference for the bitcoin. Like ETH, Neo, EOS etc is now making the market very good. If we see the near future then market will explode at any time. We might have some good news from INDIA and CHINA but have to wait for a long. The beauty of the blockchain protocol is that it ensures that once a certain level of acceptance, and therefore value, has been achieved, altering the record for nefarious purposes would always demand more computer power (and therefore expense) than the rewards warranted.

I think so. Bitcoin is the most popular crypto. But i think even if without bitcoin. The blockchain will still survive. There are still many good crypto in the market.

Blockchain Technology was driven to fame by its application on Bitcoin Gold due to its encryption that has been considered hacker proof. Bitcoin has been used as a reference to its success, providing a secure network for users.

The question however is, can blockchain succeed without bitcoin?

Of course it can. Actually it is already succeeding without it. The applications of blockchain's goes way ahead of the bitcoin itself. Not to talk about the most known blockchains like ethereum for example you also have the DLT's that it's something completely apart of bitcoin.

blockchain has many potential and unlimited uses to secure Bitcoin, so it will survive even without Bitcoin. while there are thousands of projects that use it and new things will appear quickly. we know that bitcoin is the king of coins but even if bitcoin down there is still another coin that can take over.

Since bitcoin is a cryptocurrency or a virtual currency we can consider that bitcoin can fully survive without a blockchain technology. Because blockchain is one of the important tools to that helps to bitcoin smoothly, quickly,  and almost perfectly. Although bitcoin can't probably survive without blockchain technology it doesn't mean that bitcoin is worthless because maybe sometimes after the several years a next great invention rather than blockchain technology will be discover.

I think there is no bitcoin without blockchain technology. Bitcoin and Blockchain involve each other.  So, without one, other can't survive for a long time. I am not sure, But I think blockchain is the base of Bitcoin.

While blockchain can not be removed with bitcoin, but in my opinion, in the absence of bitcoin, blockchain can survive, although it may not be as good as bitcoin, because blockchain can not really be released from bitcoin and is a very important part of bitcoin.

I truly believe that Bitcoin was just a first implementation of blockchain technology. It will be known like that, but this tech will be used in all areas of our daily lives. The possibilities for storing data and fast transmission are crucial features of it, so its use in various industries will be seen in the near future.

Because Bitcoin and Blockchain are so related, even if Bitcoin somehow goes so down in its value, Blockchain will somehow bring it back.
Why?
Because they are correlated. One can not work without the other, not in 2018 or in the future. These are times when the revolution in economic system happens and due to that, Blockchain will always be alive just as Bitcoin will always be alive.

BUT...!

We must understand that there are certain differences.
Bitcoin is a currency, and Blockchain is a " platform ", something that changed the whole ball game.
One must truly understand both and then, only then will know what is what.
My point is that Blockchain is used for tons and tons of things these days and we will only see in the future the merits and use of it in our everyday lives when on the other hand, Bitcoin is still and will always be a cryptocurrency.

Well of Course it can survive without bitcoin. the problem it cant be maximized its usefulness. most of the used of payments in blockchain is cryptocurrecies and the number one on it is bitcoin. without it, we can use cash but the same process like paying cryptocurrencies. using Visa or anything wallets that have currency that your country has.  same process, same payments the only change is without bitcoin or cryptocurrencies.

I think it can manage to survive but making an impact to people is going to be hard. Bitcoin is the image that make it more recognize so without it, it is just like a good bag without a brand. Blockchain is good but I think it needs bitcoin to make adoption much faster.

bitcoin is on the front line of blockchain, blockchain is unlikely to survive in the absence of bitcoin unless fierce competition occurs between bitcoin and other altcoins, I mean price competition.

I don't think that the blockchain needs bitcoin to have a faster adaption because without bitcoin, it can still survive because the blockchain network does have the qualities of a technology that a country or government can look for because it doesn't need to have a cryptocurrency because even without cryptocurrency like bitcoin, blockchain can still be useful and limitless.

Of course, blockchain technology is really powerful. Blockchain technology can survive even without bitcoin. Actually, there are now many industries and even company that are now using blockchain technology.

Blockchain has gained much roots now as people have come to understand its wide usability in solving mankind's problem. As of now, Blockchain can survive without Bitcoin but in the absence of Bitcoin, Blockchain will really struggle as a lot of investors in crypto are Bitcoin enthusiasts and have gained much trust for Bitcoin.

At the present time, maybe. Many coin co-workers use blockchain very well to develop it. Bitcoin is a coin that provides Blockchain technology but is not responsible for running it

Sure, blockchain is still live without bitcoin. Blockchain is a technology and Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency based on blockchain. If BTC is not existed, we will have others.
