Hello my dear Bitcoin brothers.

I would like to ask you about your experience with day/swing trading vs. long term investing and also,
what was more profitable for you and what are pros and cons for both ways of trading?

This question interests me since market is very volatile and it can get quite easy to exploit daily range for a quick small profit.

I think the choice lies on the profit margin you are aiming to get. If you want a bigger profit, then a long term investment is better for your to choose because it would yield you more return. However, the return would not be possible without a patient attitude and accepting the fact that the investment may drag for months at a time before a great and big return would surface. On the one hand, short term investments are better for earning fair enough return, but not as big as long term investments may yield. Also, the risks for short term investments are lesser because, at least, it's more real-time in terms of showing you if your venture would give something good or not.

For me the short-term trading is the safest choice at the present time, you can see that bitcoin prices in the past few days are constantly fluctuating and difficult to guess. Today after touching the $ 9800 level, it immediately adjusted to the $ 8700 level, which is a huge adjustment and has made investors panic and runaway. So short-term trade is the safest choice.

In my opinion investing in crypto varies from the investor's own choice and her/his capabilities to manage the investment. Both are profitable but requires more knowledge and time to manage it correctly.

I consider myself a beginner in trading. Only learn. learning through youtube. and I think that beginners should trade only for long and medium positions. or scalping

In my opinion before decide to make invest in long term or short term, you have to understanding price action of crypto and situation of the market. Technical analysis also will helpfull to decide when should doing short or long term trading. In this current situation of market, in my opinion swing trading is best to do, because the price just started going up.
