Smoking cigarette can be very hard to quit once you are addicted to nicotine and quitting radically have a negative impact (mood changes, irritability etc). I suggest that you quit smoking slowly. Chewing gums and candies can help and so with inhalers.

During my first days of quitting, I had a hard time coping up with it. I really want to go out and buy some sticks of cigarettes, and I've been chewing a lot of chewing gum/candies, but still I miss the cigarette. What I did is i look at the internet, I keep on reading about what could stop me from buying cigarette.

Hours later I talk to one of my friends on Facebook, I asked her about what could I do to stop myself from buying, she told me to drink lukewarm water each time I feel that I want to buy a cigarette, Oh well, that's F* effective.

Go buy a book - Easy way to Quit Smoking. Read it till the end - DONE DEAL (YOU ARE NON-SMOKER).

Reading books are not going to help. If you want to quit smoking, then first of all you should have a strong conviction to do so. I have seen some of my friends trying to quit smoking. And 90% of them gave up after the initial few weeks. Some of them held on to a few months, but then couldn't prevent the temptation.

only understanding will bring you to what you want. a have a strory about my grandmother. she's been smoking for over 50 years, but couple of months ago, her legs started to hurt, she visited the doctor and he said that this is vessels problems, that can cause an amputation. what do you think? my granny stopped smoking at the same day. understanding of a disaster made her stop. just one day, just one day... no, my grandmother is 70

It's not easy to stop smoking when she or he addicted this. the doctor will only says to stop her when she got died her. .smoking is very dangerous to your life it may cause you to death. so please stop smoking.

Simple just stop buying them and if your around people that do smoke either ask them not to in front of you or just leave.You could also tell them how bad it is for them. Grin

Eating baby carrots is a good option:) and you need a lot of dedication and discipline stop smoking but it is possible. Believe in yourself and now I feel healthier, the most important thing is I know that I am not killing anyone with my bad habit.  Grin

Self descipline,willingness to change are the things that you must have for you to stop from smoking. Its not the people around you who can help from quiting your vise,yourself is your enemy in the part of changing yourself. Be true to your total conversion, maybe its hard from the beginning but as you go onwards you will see yourself free.

Smoking is also form of addiction, so it is hard to a person to quit if he/she really used to it. For me, the best way to stop smoking is not producing cigarettes because as I observed even though  cigarettes today are very expensive, smokers didn't stop their hobby.

it's hard to avoid getting used to it especially when people stop smoking suddenly get sick because your body always looks for it so my advice to the addicted to smoking is to avoid stopping the smoking should be Just keep one at a time every day until you get rid of smoking

Also, seek professional help. Physicians, nurses, and therapists are well-equipped when it comes to smoking cessation program. You should also keep in mind that a lot of people have already succeeded quitting smoking and you are capable of it too.

You can stop smoking buy doing something insted your habit is smoking try to go gym or playing some sport.

Gradually reducing does not help. I fully stopped, that was it. The first two weeks were hard, but I just ate an apple every time I wanted to smoke. Afterward, it became easier. A month later I tried a smoke and it was horrible. That's how it worked  Smiley

Quitting smoking is actually hard if we don't try hard. It should be practiced everyday until we learn how to resist it. Smoking would just shorten our lives and we must be aware of it's negative effects. We must set rules for ourselves as a motivation and we must be eager to follow it until we reach our target goal.

I also had such problem one year ago. My decision was very easy. I threw away all cigarettes. And when  I wanted to smoke I drank a beer)
I don't smoke now but there is another problem...

something hard to avoid , I am also experienced , i can ever stop when heartburn , but awhile when it's recovered I can not avoid smoking anymore, I'm irritated ,that's something that's hard for me  Huh  Lips sealed , Someone can help me too ??

if you want to stop smoking you must have PROPER DISCIPLINE because smoking is one of the most difficult addictions to prevent or stop. It requires determination and motivation for you to overcome it.  There's many things to consider like your health, your family and your future. All these will be affected if you fail to stop. No one could help you but yourself. Seeking medical attention and advice will not help you, the change must start within you.

From now on you have to buy gum. But do not just rest on candy. You can also replace the cigarettes with other types of snacks such as ciki, peanuts, chocolate, cookies, martabak, burgers, satay, or other types of snacks.

Anyway the snacks you like. That way your mouth will not be idle again and the mouth will quickly forget the name of the cigarette

1.Pertama tama ialah niat yang sungguh sungguh.
2.Dalam berhenti merokok anda harus memiliki latar belakang yang kuat dalam berhenti merokok, dari pengalaman saya awalnya merupakan keterpaksaan karena pasangan saya tidak suka orang merokok lalu pasangan saya memberikan perhitungan dampak baik dan buruk dalam merokok salah satu yang dapat saya rasakan sekarang adalah saya bisa memanfaatkan uang yang saya kepada hal yang lebih positif . Contoh : ketika saya ingin merokok saya sisihkan uangnya bukan untuk membeli rokok tapi saya tabung dalam toples . Ketika dalam waktu satu minggu saya buka toples tersebut dan saya terkejut , yang awalnya saya bukanlah orang yang suka menabung saya merasakan betapa nikmatnya menabung, kemudian hasil dari tabungan tersebut saya membeli burung untuk di pelihara . Karena menurut pengalaman yang saya alami, keinginan untuk merokok timbul ketika kita sedang bersantai dan tidak tau harus melakukan apa , dari situ saya berinisiatif untuk mengisi waktu luang saya untuk bermain dengan burung meski hanya memberi makan ataupun memandikan dan membersihkan kandang .saya merasakan hidup saya lebih positif  . Tubuh saya terasa lebih segar dan saya tidak mudah stress ketika mendapatkan suatu masalah . Saya merasa lebih sehat dari sebelumnya .dari saat itu saya memutuskan untuk berhenti merokok karena yang saya berfikir merokok membuat saya rugi , kesehatan saya , uang saya , tingkat produktifitas saya menurun ketika saya mengkonsumsi rokok .dan ketika anda sudah terlepas dari apa yang namanya rokok jangan sekali kali mencobanya lagi meski hanya sekali karena hal itulah yang membuat anda gagal dalam berhenti merokok.

Jangan tunggu besok untuk memulainya ,mulailah sekarang!
