As for me, it is the overflowing of the market by non-stop ICO projects (however, it's understandable, everyone wants a piece of a pie).

Because bitcoin is king. Should altcoin have to follow it, this is almost obvious.

That's true! And in the future it should change. BTC dominance should decrease and the projects behind all these altcoins should be much less dependant on it. Often happens this scenario, when some altcoin release updates or great news, the price of the coin starts to go up, but unstable behavior of BTC cut the impulse and preventing the price to grow.
And I think that ,bitcoin is still the most expensive cryptocurrency, but its impact on the entire market will be every year to decrease. Perhaps on the foreground there will be some other cryptocurrency which we still do not know, but in any case the changes will be. What? We can only guess. Personally, I don't see a future without cryptocurrency.
Cryptocurrency is new technolgy and i am sure they have an very basic problem. All new thing also has very basic problem whic can impact the total cryptocurrency in general.
Example bitcoin, bitcoin is the best in the form of privacy and transparent but it does not use as mainstream adoption. That is the most problem of cryptocurrency.

It`s only a matter of time only, BTC became the reference for the other coins because his appearance made the digital market crypto starts to dilate its name. Reasonable just after it began appearing and r based on the price of the BTC. Dont cover the possibility of the longer the coin will appear that can rival the BTC and I think the most approach is the ETH.

the same situation will continue as it is. If the jelly took the opportunity this would be very nice to invest primarily in the bitcoin himself. altcoin does indeed depend on the rise and fall of bitcoin but naturally, it will actually grow in taking the step.

I think the dependency of altcoins to bitcoins is just natural not just it is the first cryptocurrency but because bitcoin also ia dependable in altcoins as it is also being used for exchanges. However I do agree that the pump and dump groups along with some whales do have a way to manipulate prices as they wish and it is very frustrating to small time traders, investors and newbies in this industry. That is why we need innovation on how to use cryptocurrency as it would release it to the control of these groups.

Maybe if the alternative Bitcoin developers or what we call alt coin itself can work well, like multiplying users, must be accompanied by miners, and many are adopting. maybe the alt coin they created will not fail half way.

I agree with you. The market of crypto currency is still too young and there is no coin that could compare with bitcoin. Until coins appear equal in capitalization with bitcoin, all altcoins will depend on BTC

I think Altcoin prices can not be independent from bitcoin since the trading system and all exchanges are using bitcoin price parity. If bitcoin price drops more than the rise of an altcoin price, it will also seems to drop. Bitcoin price should be stable for reliable altcoin prices.

There's a big point on what you said. Traders whose basing altcoins' price with Bitcoin sucks! Altcoins should have their own track. As for now, no other coins cant beat BTC but the only thing that altcoin holders can do is to let altcoins stand on their own.

If you're looking for a candidate that could par bitcoin, then the nearest answer to that would be Ethereum. I picked it judging on the highest marketcap in next to bitcoin and the usage.
On our local online exchanger, ethereum have already its own way for converting directly to our fiat. It doesn't depend now to bitcoin in cashing out  Cheesy

Maybe it's the overflow of the market by numerous projects which come out day by day.

Trust to them is regularly violated by a lot of scam projects...that makes me extremely careful.

one of the biggest problems with altcoins is all alt coins are directly depended on bitcoin prices so they will crumble each time bitcoin make any move in the market so alt coins should be paired to other cryptocurrencies like Etherum and Litecoin

So what if they are all dependent to bitcoin?

At least they are giving credit on what's the first mover of cryptocurrency, you never understand on how a market works so stay with your alts.

I totally agree with you. Altcoins become junk when bitcoin is not stable. But I don't think it's possible for an altcoin to be independent from bitcoin since all exchanges are based on this price system.

....is their complete dependancy of Bitcoin. It really takes all the fun out of crypto trading.

No matter what kind of awesome progress some altcoins make....it doesn't change the trend upwards if Bitcoin doesn't allow it.

Pump and dump groups I also blame. Because of them I'm very positive that Bitcoin won't make it past 30 000 this year. 50 000 to 80 000 would be realistic without pump and dump groups dominating and controlling the prices.

Anyways, these things have to change somehow. The first altcoin developers who claim their absolute freedom from Bitcoin will be the real winners of this crypto game.

I wish all the Altcoins were not so dependent on BTC, everything will be more beautiful, but at least in the short term it does not seem possible to be. As you mentioned, although the altcoins make a big move, almost all of them are losing momentum with the BTC movement. If the market volume rises to trillion dollars one day, then the situation may change.
