I totally agree with your opinion which states that alt coins are overly dependent on bitcoin. I hope in the very near future that we will see more fiat payment options which will lead to less dependency on BTC.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I think the biggest problem is the scum today. Because most of the projects do not survive a year after they collect their money. I do not see any prospects for this kind of activity if the case develops in a similar way
I think that there must be a lot of enthusiasm and effort, because the technology has not yet begun the world, so there is no such nonsense as "support" "financing" and other things. Therefore, I think those who look at it as a business are likely to lose.

Yes, the situation is really the same as you described. Especially now, after incredible growth, the topic of crypto-currencies has attracted too many people

Altcoins are doinb better. This is what keeps the minorities going into crypto. I myself have benefited from it. The earnings is far beyond expectation. Although there are alts that has no value that can be disappointing sometimes but overall it is two thumbs up.

I think the biggest problem of altcoins is the unending numbers of alts that has came out in the market. This is the biggest threat of alts since it has divided the number of investors in the market.

....is their complete dependancy of Bitcoin. It really takes all the fun out of crypto trading.

No matter what kind of awesome progress some altcoins make....it doesn't change the trend upwards if Bitcoin doesn't allow it.

Pump and dump groups I also blame. Because of them I'm very positive that Bitcoin won't make it past 30 000 this year. 50 000 to 80 000 would be realistic without pump and dump groups dominating and controlling the prices.

Anyways, these things have to change somehow. The first altcoin developers who claim their absolute freedom from Bitcoin will be the real winners of this crypto game.

Ethereum is one of such altcoin that is not dependent on bitcoin, but bitcoin been the king, when ever anything affects bitcoin, it will surely affect other altcoin, that's the kind of situation we are in right now, maybe that will change in the future, with people who will come up with exchanges like bancor that would allow you to convert your coin to any other coins.

Multi day there will come a period when one of the altcoins, for instance ETH, surpasses BTC capitalization and after that the reliance on BTC will be much lower. BTC isn't the most mechanically propelled coin, it would be intelligent if in a few years it loses its situation in the main 1.

Even the biggest problem of the altcoins is that they do not have a finished product for many. If there was a product then I think everything would be much better.

One scam ICOs that pretend to be genuine and also lack of market for coins that has not gotten many interested buyers to trade in. But I learn't as of the later, Ares has come with the objective to solve that issue. We hope the future for such coins can, therefore, be optimistic!

At least Altcoin has their own market and project. Although the price is fixed by the price of Bitcoin, Altcoin still has a high chance to rise up against Bitcoin, because Altcoin is more of a type than Bitcoin. And based on coinmarketcap, Altcoins dominates the market as much as 65%.

The altcoins is the one making won problems, because theirs so many pump up altcoin with dump value or zero value that can cause aktcoin to be convected as unsual coin for investment. Bitcoin is out of that of that problem.

Seeing your questions I have to tell you did a very good research on this marketplace. See you really made some very good points on altcoin. All the statement of your is 100% true there is no doubt in it. As you see many groups like pump and dump group make the suction very serious it is also a very big reason to think about it. Altcoin has a very bright future no doubt in it as a say some time by seeing the improvement of altcoin will be the most powerful coins in future. You see bitcoin and altcoin are co-related to it's their prices. They are connected in some factors. So if altcoin solves their problems then it 'll be a good coin in the future.

Many altcoins with proclaim "Slayer of Bitcoin" and see how those altcoins fare? The crypto ecosystem was very fragment and Bitcoin is a symbol of it so you won't see any altcoins could independent from Bitcoin.

Most of the Altcoins are unnecessary and useless. Because of this garbage, really useful projects remain invisible. Therefore, the market of altcoins is waiting for collapse and only the strongest will survive.

The one of the most concerning issue of altcoins that they are so joung. What's more, there are excessively comparable undertakings seemed last yearы - it should set aside time for them to reinforce its position, turn out to be more independent and economical, which will make them less reliant on bitcoin. At the present time BTC is fundamental resource in crypto world and when we get negative news , the entire crypto advertise is feeling the squeeze.

I think it's more because they're not worth it!
That's the main reason. Their value is just for people to hype up. Grin

That is because it's hard to be recognized and to be trusted in the market. All of altcoins suffer from doubts and FUD that keeps them from standing on their feet unlike bitcoin that is already established before a lot of FUD arrives. Altcoins just need a better exposure to the world to solve that problem.
