If altcoins want to be independent of bitcoin, it must be sold by cash. And this hardly happen because government don't want it happen. This seems to be the biggest and most difficult problem of altcoins. Perhaps we have to accept this.

This is due to the fact that everyone is still afraid of the risk of a very volatile decline, with the stability of bitcoin and altkokon prices so far, which makes people prefer to invest in bitcoin.

unfortunately, the most important problem of the alt coins is their independence, or rather the dependence on bitcoin, and they fall much more than BTC

In my opinion, one of the problems facing altcoin is minimal technological innovation. Most altcoins simply duplicate previously developed technologies. They duplicate the previous altcoin technology so that many altcoins are difficult to gain public trust. They are very difficult to occupy an important position in the market. In addition, altcoin problems are not well known for marketing plans and promotions that are less intelligent so that altcoin can not be known to the public at large.

....is their complete dependancy of Bitcoin. It really takes all the fun out of crypto trading.
No matter what kind of awesome progress some altcoins make....it doesn't change the trend upwards if Bitcoin doesn't allow it.
Pump and dump groups I also blame. Because of them I'm very positive that Bitcoin won't make it past 30 000 this year. 50 000 to 80 000 would be realistic without pump and dump groups dominating and controlling the prices.
Anyways, these things have to change somehow. The first altcoin developers who claim their absolute freedom from Bitcoin will be the real winners of this crypto game.
That is true. However, I believe the most urgent is the security when it comes to alt coins and cryptocurrency. Right now there are way too many scams around to be worrying about the dependency of altcoins to bitcoin.

You look in the wrong direction. The main problem of altcoins is use. Today this is just a speculative instrument, not an independent currency. And the matter here is not at all dependent on bitcoin, but in the goal of creating new coins: just profit...

I concur the most serious issue Altcoin is on account of it relies upon Bitcoin. On the off chance that Bitcoin can't survive, I'm certain Altcoin likewise gradually can't keep up its reality. Bitcoin is the most trusted and most encouraging coin so if the primary coin is dead, the youngsters will bite the dust.

I guess the most serious issue is BTC equality. Everything is values in BTC terms so all the altcoins are by implication reliant on the lord. BTC strength will diminish extra time and the tasks behind all these altcoins will be sufficiently solid to have a say in the market.

There are many cryptocurrencies out there. As technology advance there are many cryptocurrencies are coming day by day.altcoin is one of the most expensive coins in the market once upon a time. But as many days are gone cryptocurrency and crypto marketplace are being down day by day. See you really made good points and I think you already mentioned all the problem of altcoin I'm your passage. See one of the most dangerous issues of altcoin is all the scams. This things make the altcoin reputation so low. Many of the investors already lose their faith in that. So that many of them are already moved their investment on other coins. We suffer most on pump's and dumps groups. This things just broke the backbone of this marketplace. One of the most disgusting matters of altcoin is it totally depends on Bitcoin. So we can say that it's a depended coin. And the interest of the investment is to invest in freedom coins, not any depends on coins. All I want to say that is think twice or thrice before investment anywhere.

Alts depend on btc because they are constantly being converted to btc. It is not enough just to declare the freedom from bitcoin, some practical steps should be done. For example, creation of a blokchain that would become even more popular than bitcoin's blockchain - in this case btc will dependent on such an altcoin.

I think the biggest problem of alternativecoins is there’s a lot coins in the market that easily spread out and not all of them are reliable source of coins because some of them are scammers.

Biggest problem of altcoins is a big number of same altcoins without really solving real problems. Altcoins should be more usable in real life and this will help to make crypto mainstream

It is just a short time just, bitcoin turned into the reference for alternate coins since his appearance made the advanced market crypto begins to enlarge its name. sensible soon after it started showing up and depend on the cost of the bitcoin. try not to cover the likelihood of the more extended the coin will create the impression that can equal the bitcoin and I think the most approach is the ethereum.

In my noobs opinion, the biggest problem of altcoins is their proliferation. There seems to be a thousand released every other day and a great number of them are scams with notthing to deliver. The crypto community needs to sit up and collaborate instead of replicating lots of existing projects.

BTC still dominates the crypto-currency market and its capitalization is almost half the capitalization of the entire market. BTC is the most liquid coin and the prices of almost all altcoins depend on the price of BTC. In other words, BTC has a huge impact on the whole market

Your wondering and worrying also is my interesting thing currently. Seeing a big gap between Bitcoin value and altcoin presents a big problem when Bitcoin has uncertainty in the future. Too depending ability of Altcoins on Bitcoin which limits the development ability of other coins and it makes market slowdown anytime when Bitcoin value is dropped.

All this happens precisely because only bitcoin at the moment is a true cryptocurrency, and the altcoins has yet to prove its value and compete for its place in the market.

The team behind the coin is actually the most important. If a team is not cohesive, it does not actively develop according to the road map for a long time. Sooner or later it will disappear with the passage of time.

This is an exchange, we are using btc as altcoin fiat. So it effects all altcoins. So there is no need to blame btc but pump and dump groups have some facts on the problem
