Of course I participate in such ICO! In 99% of cases, it is necessary to pass the KYC. Occasionally, there are such projects as Fusion, which do not need KYC. And this is a standard procedure to know your investors. Without this, there may be problems with listing on exchanges. And in general it is necessary that there should be no suspicion of financial fraud.

If the Ico worth it with special idea and strong team, there's is nothing wrong in kyc if you know that you are investing in a respectful project, just to make sure your information is safe

I do not like kyc in ico. This may lead to identity theft.  I don't feel safe. I believe that the KYC requirement should not apply to signatory campaign participants.

actually kyc is a nice step in every ico so that the identity of the participants is known clearly and so no data forgery, and this step is taken to overcome the doubling of account.

Do any of you participate in ICOs that requires KYC (Know your Customer). We actually experienced this one on exchanges but how about in partipating in ICOs or just even in airdrop that requires KYC.

I think it depends as for me as they are many scams as well just getting your information. In some instances, we can be blind sometimes, mkay? I really do not join airdrops if it requires too needy to get your personal information.

I believe some people are not cautious as long as they can join airdrops. How about you? What are your thoughts about KYC in ICOS?

This can be a good thing on reducing cheater on bounty campaign but a bad side on people who are participating it and don't have enough Ids or valid identification. If they don't have enough ID's they aren't qualified to get their hard-earned token on bounty campaign. Sometimes they don't verify it on time and takes a lot of time and sometimes if you don't reach the cut-off of submission you won't get your token.

Large investors do not like to shine their passport data. Pass the KYC can be interested only by guaranteeing a good profit from the project.

I had joined few airdrops and most likely, the inputted information in that form were just used for another airdrops. I had received few emails from joining that and I thought that it is really legit. I think you should make your parameters first before considering one. It isn't just exchanging your time but also it is also worth saving your privacy.

Yes, I participate in such projects. Often, these are very serious projects that seem very reliable and promising to me. I'm not afraid to send my data to such projects.

In my opinion KYC required for ICO;s are good ICO because it is more secured from fraud and good team will be behind the project, so I suggest to join the ICO where KYC is required or mandatory. so only trusted people can invest money and the project will be more reliable and succeed, when you choose any ICO first you should learn about the project and study about the roadmap and team, that can help you

I do not trust airdrops in general, even if they don't require kys. There are too much scams! For bounties yes, I passed KYS. But airdrops doesn't worth it at all!

the use of kyc on ico same as two sides of the coin, there are some people who mediocre to provide personal information,
and not a few who fear the theft or abuse of personal data,
I prefer who does not use kyc, because I do not want to complicate and provide my personal information,

Of course, if the project has good vision and mission, then I will keep investing even with KYC procedures. because with KYC we can be safer from theft

Yes I too have and I think there’s nothing wrong with a little security feature
added to ICO’s it simply makes things appropriate and accounted for. KYC can
help out filter those type of individuals that tend to corrupt and exploit certain
ICOs.

Sometimes yes, because KYC is for detailing the identity of the person, its for the safe keep records of the investors and participants, in order for you to have trust on the project KYC is for the security purposes.

Don't like KYC, so do not even enter into the bounty, which require to undergo KYC participants bounty. In the Russian branch write that it is dangerous to life, as all your data to God knows who

Not to long ago, a particular ICO that i've participated in demanded KYC to everybody that participated in their bounty regardless. Be you an investor or bounty campaigner and added that campaigners will not be payed unless they do KYC. Most of the time the bounty campaigners declined to the idea. So the ICOS's admin changed their pinned message to " only people of interest will do KYC ". It's not necessarily a bad idea. If they will require me, definitely i will do it. Knowing that my payout depends on it. Who would want their hard earned payment go to waste in exchange of a simple task, doing KYC?

I always participate in ICO which I think will give me a profit, so if ICO is in need of KYC but I am sure the project will be successful then I will definitely follow.
