I must say that you are wrong here. The AR features will be available for all idevices with A9 chip and above. So it would work for iphone 6s/se and above. As far as compatibility with older iphones is concerned, they wont run as they wont be able to handle such a heavy app, furthermore, the ios version on those phones is too outdated.
