I rest until whenever aTriz answers these questions. Bear in mind that only aTriz aside from the proven liar alia has seen and used this script. Only atriz can tell us if or not the said script is real or a scam.

scam_detector’s aTriz thread is over here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3038096.0

Enormous confusion has resulted from mixing issues in these two cases.  Although the cases share the same factual background, precision and fairness to all parties can only be had by keeping the topics separate (as if separate “trials”).

Thank you very much, I will move my ramblings there. I have no interest in the alia group's shenanigans beyond how they relate to aTriz's behavior. Engaging with them is a waste of time and energy.

Distracting? I have done nothing but maintain that aTriz is an untrustworthy scammer, and you have been deleting my posts on your thread of me saying it. You really are full of shit... guess those trust ratings are warranted.

I posted what follows in Alia's new thread, but she deleted it immediately. This entire post assumes that she is a 19 year old girl as she claims, and there is not a team of people behind her accounts.

I am reposting it here for a number of reasons. Alia, I really want you to read this and not just immediately dismiss it off hand. I am trying to help you. I also want the community to read this and know, that if anyone indulges her in her new "script", you are enabling an addict. This goes beyond a scam and in to the territory of serious mental health issues, with life-changing ramifications. Please, don't do it.

I am a doctor in real life. Whilst I have never met you in real life, or indeed communicated with you in any way outside of publically available posts on this forum, I feel confident suggesting that you have a gambling addiction, and a severe one at that.

The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5) is the universal authority for psychiatric diagnoses. The criteria for a "Gambling Disorder" can be viewed here.

I would like to present evidence that you meet every single one of these criteria.

Needs to gamble with increasing amounts of money in order to achieve the desired excitement.

My last .25BTC, she stated that she was going to raise the minimum deposit to 1.2BTC, and that is when I tapped out, as people lose alot of money due to overconfidence. I still have our skype convo.

Alia also tried to push me from 0.01 BTC to 1.2 BTC.

Is restless or irritable when attempting to cut down or stop gambling.

Faggot.

I didn't attempt a scam, dumbfuck.

Are you stupid?

Wait and fucking watch, you braindead scumbag.

Has made repeated unsuccessful efforts to control, cut back, or stop gambling.

Good thing I stopped using/selling the script

If the script doesn't work I'll admit I'm a scammer and fuck off forever.

Also, this will be the last post I'll make from this account for the forseeable future.

Is often preoccupied with gambling (e.g., having persistent thoughts of reliving past gambling experiences, handicapping or planning the next venture, thinking of ways to get money with which to gamble).

I'd like to propose an idea for a new gambling thread.

Often gambles when feeling distressed (e.g., helpless, guilty, anxious, depressed).

Continuing to gamble when obviously anxious about money:

Also, as you have probably seen, my investors have stepped out, so if you want to tip me back some of the (large) profits I gave you then it would be greatly appreciated.

Also, all of my major investors have withdrawn from the script program and I'm in a really bad state financially. I'm requesting those who made profit from my script to donate a portion of the profit to me.

After losing money gambling, often returns another day to get even (“chasing” one’s losses).

Lies to conceal the extent of involvement with gambling.

This entire thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3032057.0

Has jeopardized or lost a significant relationship, job, or educational or career opportunity because of gambling.

Your relationship with this entire forum and your current -1024 default trust.

Relies on others to provide money to relieve desperate financial situations caused by gambling.

The fact that you are back again:

I would ideally like there to be one customer per day.

Please, seek help. Your local primary care physician could be a good place to start.

There are a lot of useful resources available at this site: https://www.helpguide.org/articles/addictions/gambling-addiction-and-problem-gambling.htm.

If I remember correctly, from previous threads you said you were based in Singapore. The National Council on Problem Gambling in Singapore offer a free and confidential WebChat and Helpline, as well as free and confidential counselling: https://www.ncpg.org.sg/en/Pages/DealWithProblemGambling.aspx?categ=1&article=30

Please.

Yeah... someone who scammed tons of bitcoins vs someone who scammed not even a satoshi. Totally comparable.

snip

That's very sweet of you, but no, I'm not addicted to gambling. Nor have I lost a lot of money, in fact I'm in the green as of now. And my new proposition is quite foolproof, I'd love for you to criticize it so I can make it even better. Please play doctor irl, not on here. You don't know me.

I'd love for you to criticize it so I can make it even better.

As per the script in it's current form, this will work approximately 9992 out of 10,000 times (the chance of you losing your entire deposit is 0.074990933%, under a tenth of a percent).

Here's my criticism: You are claiming a 99.92% success rate for a 15% ROI, which is even more outlandish and ridiculous than your previously claimed (and thoroughly debunked) 90% at 20% ROI. This new script is even more obviously flawed than your previous one.

I'm not saying this in a condescending/snide/patronizing/arrogant way. Please seek professional help.

No, that's the thing. Before I run the script, or do anything related to it, I'd like RGBKey and ibminer to audit the script in full, and verify the numbers. If my calculations are wrong, they will correct me.

The irony.

As Nullius so eloquently put it - I was standing up for you, I was giving you the benefit of doubt.. I was also telling you to take a chill pill and take some time off, you ignored that advise and now come out attacking everyone.. so yes I will go full on retard potty mouth against you now.

you are a stupid cunt, see and I can keep on doing it as that is what you are. You and your spurious actions and behavior has now started to taint aTriz's rep because you are a selfish money grabbing whore.

see if you had left like you promised I would not be posting now, unfortunately you didn't - with your stupid little child mind you thought you were more intelligent than the "bitcoin nerds" on this forum, some of which (myself included) were intitialy taken in by what appeared to be a charming young lady. But it turns out you are just a money grabbing hermaphrodite whore.

so Ill say it again shitcunt.. off you go, ciao for now..

Thank you, o_e_l_e_o.  That precisely communicated in a different way more or less what I have been trying to tell Alia.  N.b. that Alia has claimed to me some studies in psychology.  She should understand this!  Most of all, she should know full well not to blow you off.

https://web.archive.org/web/20180306121340/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3044369.120#msg31560212
This degen thing explains some aspects of alia's increasingly desperate scam attempts and the belligerent rants after getting caught.

Alia, you have told me privately of some studies in psychology.  Therefrom, you should realize that you are not immune to the vagaries of human nature; and if you’re smart enough to master the difficult task of truly objective introspection, then you will realize that this is a textbook example of a gambler obsessed with discovering a secret way to win.

You’re far from the first or the last; and the result is always the same:

This is exactly what I meant here:
This is how (almost) all gamblers turn their profit into a loss, and then start "chasing losses", which is a great way to lose more money. Do you really think casinos would still exist if if would be possible to consistently beat them?
The long list of positive returns seemed very unlikely to happen, and this makes it a lot more likely.
What alia is doing is basically Martingale: if you lose, you do the same with a much higher bankroll. You can keep doing that, until you run out of bankroll.

[...]

I've seen many gamblers bust large amounts of money thinking they're invincible.

Whereupon I think this is a good step in the right direction:

I was wrong about the script. It may have made money but I'm sure that was just dumb luck. I shall exit this thread and this account with my head bowed down in shame! Well, at least I could help tpb
I'm not sure if it's sarcasm or you really mean it, but I'm confident it's the right decision. I've seen many gamblers bust large amounts of money thinking they're invincible.

I don't mean it, but I'm sure I will some day. i'm just deluded right now. Only reason I said that was because I promised I would. Props to nully for the donation

(That is an excerpt of a long post.  I suggest reading the whole thing.)

RGBKey offered of his own initiative to audit the script.  Your desire that he do so is a step in the right direction.

Where does ibminer come into this?

Being in profit doesn't mean you can't be addicted to gambling.

That being said: @o_e_l_e_o: the Goldwater Rule "prohibits psychiatrists from offering opinions on someone they have not personally evaluated" (quoted from source).
You may not be a psychiatrist, but I think the same ethical principle applies.

You are absolutely right. I was very deliberate in my wording that I had not had a one-to-one consultation with Alia (a consultation in which she would be unlikely to be honest, and one that I have no desire to provide), and this was a suggestion and not a diagnosis, however I could have been clearer and stated that outright. My apologies.

I rarely get involved in this kinda stuff but I did some digging (which others may or may not have done, cba digging through like 12 pages of back and forth argument)

Looks like I'm late to the party. I've spent nearly two minutes on this alia and already found what you've found above. Damn, dudes, I remember a time when it was I they came to at the start of these type of investigations.

Which begs the question, what was user aTriz's role in this scam?
Collateral damage. Stop being butthurt and then going on vengeance runs via shills.

This doesn't look good at all.

Collateral damage is when you don't take part in something in any way, shape or form and you end up taking damage. As I see it, this is not the case here at all.

I'm a long time user of this forum and I see Lauda defending aTriz, no matter what, but in this case, there is little to defend here and the only one that could do this is aTriz.

-- edit --

Anyway, if you could give the benefit of the doubt to aTriz for vouching for the script then the same applies to alia for trying to sell it.
There are two situation: or you believe that they were both sincere and they truly thought that the script was working and making a profit, or you don't. They are both in the same boat.

Well, what would you call it when the victim of a crime (thus technically involved) gets put through the wringer in an ensuing investigation?

I'm a long time user of this forum and I see Lauda defending aTriz, no matter what, but in this case, there is little to defend here and the only one that could do this is aTriz.

If you think that aTriz did something wrong, please go question him in the aTriz accusation thread.

Anyway, if you could give the benefit of the doubt to aTriz for vouching for the script then the same applies to alia for trying to sell it.
There are two situation: or you believe that they were both sincere and they truly thought that the script was working and making a profit, or you don't. They are both in the same boat.

One of several huge differences:  When informed by maths-savvy folks that the script is impossible, aTriz backed away from the script as if from a poisoned goblet—whereas “alia” got into a days-long flamewar/temper tantrum wherein she shrieked that “stupid equations” and “mathematical jumbo jumbo” don’t apply to her precious script.  Then finally admitted that it doesn’t work.  Now, is back to claiming that it works—and it’s worth 50 BTC!

With apologies for the double-post, I am transplanting this discussion from the aTriz thread, where it is off-topic:

This question got ignored in the other topic, so I try again here:
What happened to alia that made alia_alt take over? Alia was last online 32 hours ago, modlog doesn't show anything, which leaves a temporary ban as a possibility. Or you don't want to join the select group of -9999 users and switched to be less negative?

The script works. And I didn't get banned... I just chose to leave that account

Ban evasion is a permaban offense.  I don’t know how likely it is that the username “alia” got banned; but if so, then these “alia_alt” posts are just begging for a permanent, personal ban from this forum.  And in a case which has already received the direct attention of theymos, it is not as if admins would not notice at some point!

Just saying...  And either way, suchmoon’s suggestion of taking a break from the forum was sound advice.

The script is mine and you are not allowed to leak it. If you do so, you owe me 50 BTC.
What makes you think a non-working script is worth anything, let alone 50 BTC?

The script works.

Seriously, you are coming back to say this shit? Didn't you already accept that it doesn't work? You told me that my point was ''irrefutable'' but in your empirical evidence you were always winning and that it was a good thing that you stopped selling it.

I was leaning toward “scammer”.  Then toward “sincerely obsessed gambling addict”.  Now, back toward “scammer”.

Alia, the time I have spent on you and later, on this case—my wasted time is worth >50 BTC.  (Why?  Substantially the same basis as you say your worthless script is worth 50 BTC:  “Because I said so,” although in my case it’s much more reasonable.)  Pay me 50 BTC right now, or else I will [insert threat here].  Gee, how does that feel?

But I’m in a mood to be nice, so I’ll tell you what:  I will buy your 50 BTC script, by forgiving your outstanding unpaid debt of 50 BTC.  Now, I own the script.  —Now, I grant aTriz permission to release it.

Sounds fair to me.

Edit:

The script works.

Prove it.

Also, spotted this, made me chuckle:

Muted for begging.  Ought be muted for question-begging via a moniker, too.

I always had a problem with the “Make X Great Again” motto:  The word “again” implies a previous greatness.

This implication is so oft unwarranted.  Make great again?  When were you ever great, and not just riding off someone else’s coattails?

K, scripts totally don't work. 100% not profitable in the short run. I am a loser who chases losses!

Collateral damage is when you don't take part in something in any way, shape or form and you end up taking damage. As I see it, this is not the case here at all.

1. Let's be honest here, to state that aTriz is the victim of a crime it means to think that all users of this forum are sheeps.
Let's stick to the facts and disregard the wording conotation:
 - aTriz accepted the script from alia
 - aTriz tested the script
 - aTriz vouched for the script
So, are there any other facts that make him the "victim of a crime"?

2. I didn't stated that aTriz did something wrong or he didn't, but why didn't Lauda get the same treatement from you (to go in the aTriz accusation thread) when she brought up the subject? All I did, it was to quote him/her from this thread.

3. If aTriz have no experience with gambling and scripting and odds and math, shouldn't he have asked the maths-savvy folks before vouching for the script? Isn't this trust means, that you can trust the person will make an educated statement?

Anyway, this are just normal questions, but I can see that this is a sensitive subject for some of you and react aggressive.
