My strategy is to buy coins when the price drops sharply.

Sometimes I fail, because the price drops more than I expected.

But, to prevent this worse situation, I put 30% of my budget at the time of initial investment.
If the price getting down again, I put 30% more.

With this strategy, I am getting some money so far.

In conclusion, I recommend you guys to buy coins when they drops rapidly.
After sharp drop, there should be sharp rising. 

That is one of the best strategy to do because taking advantage of lower cost of coin might bring a higher rate of returns to us specially if we do long term trading.

Just remember that not all the time that every drops are good opportunity to buy more coins. Sometimes you need to monitor the market if it's good to buy when it dropped because there is possible that it may down more.

I agreed that buying altcoins which is sharply dropped its value was a great chance for us to have it and take advantage of having that token too. Then hold it for awhile or long terms depending upon your decision. In fact this is what most traders did every time they are in the exchange platform site.

you made the wrong choice I must say.. this policy of "buy when it's cheap" only applies on Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and last Litecoin Maybe. other than these. all the altcoins are basically shit coins. and you can't really tell if a token price is low at the moment. either it'll increase or it'll further drop even more.. I think all the other coins and tokens are just for day trading. if you buy them then sell them immediately and always buy a specific amount which you could afford to lose.

if we talk about coins that drop sharply there are 2 possibilities, the first is the coin likely to be 'Dump' and the second one is likely to disappear... I never bought a coin that dropped sharply, I will only buy the coin if the coin shows up 4 or 7% of the initial drop position...

In old times, I thought it is good to buy when price drops sharply. But as of now, I realize that I must not buy at dip rather I will wait for a signal of reversal. If we will always buy at dump, there is a tendency that the price will go down and down specially if there is no retracement. Now, if we will buy when the price drops, we are not sure if the price will go up again.

Thats right, when the price goes down you can't randomly choose a coin even though it's from the top 100, because there are some coins that can't be recovered. do a deep analysis where coins that still have the potential to rise again and the price has stopped to down, buy that!

Yes, I did but I finally realized that it was very risky.The true price drop really happens when its price for around for 5-6 months because I was wrong to assume it will stop falling after it drops suddenly. I bough it but then it drop and drop again in the next months but stabilized in the next 4 months.

Yes, I think the majority of people use such strategies in buying cryptocurrency. but I suggest using a strategy like that for potential coins, or the top coin 10 in cryptocurrency. I do not recommend such a strategy to be used for newly emerging coins. I think that will minimize the risk you get. because I see the new coin that appears from some existing coin ico, has the potential to crash. every time we want to buy or trade, we must think about the risks that are in the coin that we will buy.

In my rules buy coins in two steps.
1. when market is down
2. when roadmap is working and they share their latest update social media and forum

when market down try two buy 2 steps.
buy 50% 1st then wait fed days then if market goes down and you think now it times to pump then buy again 50%

no one knows for sure the state of the market from the next day. then I agree with your opinion, that we must buy when we are sure that the market price is below. and we must be patient when our speculations are not what we expect. we must realize that cryptocurrency is fluctuating. and we must be sure that in every failure there will be success.

 Be careful not to buy the coins after the hype gets all big. For example, buying TOMO or ETN right now, you already missed it. Look for the coins that were super hyped about 4-6 months ago that are totally dipped down, but have good prospects for the future and you should have better results.

Yes I buy when the price drops sharply . You should buy when the price is dump. Buying at pump wont makes you a high profit, but do not buy with all your money cause the if you lose and you put all your money on it you will not have excess money that you can get in case of the emergency. Just invest 30% - 40% of your money so that if you lose their is something that will save you from your lose.
