There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

The boxes are of a different dimension from the Avalon batch 1,2,3 miners, so, i think it's their next gen.
Pretty pics incoming.

However let's not forget how much he screwed us and don't buy overpriced hardware in an auction.

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:
Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)
Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers

It appears that you have to upload photo ID and utility bill, and then deposit bitcoins before you can even see the specs of the avalons that you are supposed to be bidding on....that's if they ever show you the specs at all...?

What's more is it appears to be a blind auction (ie you don't see any other bids).

Think I'll steer well clear of this...

Awfully similar to what Redhash is doing.   Shocked Shocked

Does Tradehill, by chance, insure the Bitcoins placed in their 'deposit accounts' ... caveat emptor ...

What a bunch of BS this is. After screwing almost everyone (except batch1) over they come up with this "exclusive" auction nonsense with TradeHill. I was going to get upgraded modules for my avalon units but after seeing this there is no way I am depositing btc with tradehill just to have the "privilege' of bidding on their most likely overpriced and poorly supported hardware.

Tradehill version one was a failed exchange, the current "tradehill" bought the name as it was "trusted" in btcworld then aimed for large traders only, haven't heard much from them until this auction

I would have thought that nobody would buy from Yifu ever again after the chip fiasco. I guess people have short memories.

I think reaction is reinforcing that view, I wasnt planning to, but not impressed at latest "efforts"
