Unfortunately, governments have the power to dispose of the BTC as they please. If they decide to regulate it and let it survive it will be good for us but if they decide to bury it they will succeed.

You're right as we have nothing to do about it. Hopefully the government here in my country will continue to support crypto currency as our central bank support it. The most challenging part on this is the users should will able to such great things and to avoid making scams that might the government to be triggered to stop as the users continue to do such illegal things here in crypto world as the financial living of each people will be affected. Hopefully the will able to avoid those bad doings around here in our society.

The community would be put at risk, the market is going to be too complicated, because there are mixed emotions in the market which is why it is getting more harder to predict. There will be less chances of our market to survive and it might be the reason why bitcoin is going to collapse together with our cryptocurrency market.

Why you are taking it as a sort of some race in which one will win over the other. The introduction of regulations in the crypto market will not mark the end of Bitcoin. Instead it may provide many advantages. Bitcoin will then become more secured. The scammers will not find their place in this area. People can then invest in Bitcoin confidently and without fear. There will also eliminate terrorism and money laundering activities.
In some point yes it will serve as the protector of bitcoin, it will have a rules and regulation to be follow. There are laws that will be created about it. That is when the government was a good one, but if not and he/she was a greedy person then maybe things will not be like that. We all know that corrupt people are mostly in the government and they always thing of themselves. Hopefully that when it happens, officials will used it in a right way.

Is tighter regulation of encryption a bad thing? Such BTC and altcoin would be more standardized, and the government could not exceed BTC unless the government could control the entire network.

Well, perhaps we'll have to part in cryptocurrency. We have to obey the government, whether we like it or not.

I don't think they can control the whole system, not unless they do it under duress and force. And if they go that route, then we are no better than the dictatorships in the world as far as I am concerned.

Surely things will be much more complicated as the big players has started to take their profits which is why we see some pullbacks on bitcoin's value. As far i know governments doesnt seems to be alarmed that is cryptocurrencies are growing massively. If government will ever going to restict these currencies many people are gong to jump off.

I still do not think that absolutely all States will be able to ban bitcoin, as there are already countries that have adopted it. Therefore, our prospects are not so bad.

Be ready and aware that 2018 is the year of regulatory reckoning. Countries around the world are trying to determine how they are going to treat cryptocurrencies. Securities and Exchanges Commission (SEC) has halted several ICOs and hinted at the need for greater crypto regulation.

I am into cryptocurrency because of freedom, I can't deny to myself that I have worries regarding this issue. And as an investor, I really have no choice but to stay with crypto once the governments around the world have control to cryptocurrencies (if that became possible).

So as much as we can, also invest with physical properties with what you've earned. For we don't know what will happen next with our money in the digital world.

This is not an advice. It's simply a shared idea.

How about you? What do you have in mind? Undecided

Lets look in the bright side of it. If the government regulate the bitcoin, its a sign that the government finally see the worth of cryptocurrency and maybe its a way to accept it in one country. And it is a big opportunity to us and to the investor, once the government is involve in the world of digital currency.

well i think government suicide in getting control over bitcoin, the crypto-currency market will fall to the ground because their will be alot of policy which they will implement which will be of their own benefit and not to the interest of the people. and the market being control by an individual or government agent can hiding the investors/traders, their will be alot of taxation in the business which no one will like to pay and government has high funds but they are not strong enough to regulate the cryptocurrencies in which the largest community is bitcoin

in my opinion government cant win over bitcoin, maybe they can add taxes on the process of converting bitcoins to fiat but they cannot totally banned bitcoin, if ever the government banned bitcoin i will still earn bitcoin and spend it in countries where bitcoin is legal.

there are possibilities that the government may win over bitcoin because it can not enter a country without passing by the government but then because the government benefits with the taxes coming from the bitcoin it won't also let the government that bitcoin will be turn off or be gone in the country so to conclude bitcoin is still wins over the government.

For me government won't win over bitcoin. Maybe they will add more taxes on the process of converting bitcoin to fiat but they can't replace it or totally ban it. If possible bitcoin ban in our country I will still earn and work bitcoin where the country legalized it.

It will never happen. They can't win over bitcoins. Its not in under control. You know the bill gates statement ? Bill said " Bitcoin is unstoppable " which cleared that there's no power who can wins over it. Main problem is banning bitcoin sites like wallets and so ICO which gives ability to invest our coin and increase  there value by selling coins later at exchanges .Chinese government tried their best to stop bitcoin but fail at the end, but they still manage to ban the use of ICO.

i think you worry too much.
first, some country already legalize bitcoin and cryptocurrency generally
second so many online payments that already accepts bitcoin, such as skrill.
so as long exchange still exists and demand still high, nothing to worry about.no need to spread more fud when Bitcoin at bullish.

For me Bitcoins is great it was Blessings for me coming from god, I know that all of us are same ambition to become wealthy person in behalf of Bitcoin. That's exactly my 100% perception Since when I start using bitcoin until it was a little profit from it I really thankful for them. I'm very disappointed if Government totally ban and totally closure of Bitcoin System Database because of their strict regulation from government. All ambition and all of our effort are useless if it will gonna be happen. I hope that Bitcoin will stay dominated and our support is necessary to become bitcoin more additional stability.
