might be best to ask in the official thread by SP_ here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=826901.0

I dont have any nvidia cards or would have tested my guess is that you might not be passing all the args needed for that card?

Good idea, BD, I asked and got a reply that for Fermi-based GPU I need to use another kind of ccminer. See this post for details. Now it works and I am getting 150 MH/s (I think that is not much but what should I expect of a nvidia gpu and moreover a laptop one?...)
Anyway, happy 2016 to you all.

Merged of coins still alive? Kind of like a new coin - [DCR] Decred release and Blake, or am I wrong?

Decred is 14 round blake-256...  Blakecoin is 8 round.  I don't think they can be merged

they would need the same 8 round Blake-256 and same wallet hashing + auxpow

they have been asked and said:

Hi there, BlueDragon747.  While you make some compelling arguments for using 8 or 10 round Blake256 instead of 14 rounds, we are not interested in having Decred merge mined with other Blake256 coins.  This choice was intentional and 14 rounds was chosen to be be conservative about security.

so no merge mine(auxpow) and using 14 round Blake-256 = it can never be merged with current coins on pools!

That really is a shame...

Auxpow is the future.

I recommend to adjust to the new coin - [DCR] Decred. This will give a serious impetus to the development of your ideas. The community is waiting for [DCR] Decred. If even this coin will be produced others - would be cool! Happy New Year!!!

I don't think it is as easy as that and as far as I know they have no intentions to merge mine with anyone.

their intention - that is their desire. DB opportunity to do their digging together with the coin. People pulled.

I did ask they said No  Shocked

when they release with 14 round Blake-256 there is nothing I can do to make it compatible also note there may be other hashing changes that also break stuff  Roll Eyes

so just to make it 100% clear those devs have chosen to be non compatible by design!

Looks to be working to me. Did you have a trade that is stuck?

Edit: Just checked the relay server. It was stuck and hasn't been reset with the new year. Should be working now.

Price increase follows adoption generally. Then you say that adoption (attention) will follow a price increase. This is a catch 22. Which one comes first? Adoption comes first, then price increase. What you have identified here is that once its started, the cycle may actually fuel itself.
